this made me think of my b18 crx i used to have. it didnt haul as much ass as your set up. could you tell me what chassis work was done? my old crx had lots of rust :(.
are you running the stock fuel tank or a cell and surge tank? im in the process of finishing up my crx and want to know if the stock tank is good enough for circuit.
@phoenixghon I'm running a stock OEM gas tank. With a Walbro 190 pump. I do get starvation at about 4 gallons less than full. I usually always run full. Depending on your engine power and corner speeds a stock tank is pretty good. I'm going to a fuel cell becuase it does save weight and since going with Hoosier tires my corner grip pulls more Gs. If you driving to and from the track OEM tank is best. If you trailer it then go fuel cell.
@a0987312245 If you are planning on doing a full build/tune setup, stick with the B18. It has a much wider power-band which focuses on top-end HP, as opposed to the K20's increased low/mid-RPM Torque. (Which increases wheel spin on built FWD cars.)
If you are planning on a simple I/H/E build, then still get the B18 cause it's HELLA cheaper due to NO customization for the swap. ;)
The ONLY way I would get a K, is if it's coupled to the Real-Time AWD tranny. K24 bottom + K20 head + AWD = BOOM!

@OneHandHigh i know more about hondas than ALOT of people dude i have owned alot of hondas. a EH, a # gen accord and A DC2... i have seen many k20 swapped CRX/Civic hatches with near stock engines teaing up everything. i dont read descriptions andmore too many bullshitters. a car with a decent exsaust set up could sound like that dude....its kinda hard to tell a different when you have vtec either way it screams. and being a video its a bit hard to tell what mods a car has dude.

definitely not getting on the brakes hard enough. slowly roll into the brakes so the weight transfers forward. makes turning easier with load on the front wheels too. amazing car. looks like not all honda owners are dyno queens afterall!
I had original intentions on running in the HU (unlimited) Class. But that got dropped from the HC series. If I modify the cage and add a shit load of weight back into my car maybe H1? So time attacks it is... Which I think are more fun.

The front is at 10k and the rear is 6k. Still currently tuning the suspension setup. In this vid Im on GSR calipers all the way around. Hawk HP plus brembo slots in the front. stock rear. Since this video I've gone to Willwood 4 piston superlite calipers up front.

the car itself is so light. k20 in it just really puts it out there. im amazed how your able to balance the car. seems like a very fun car to have daily driven and track use on the weekends.
Yes. Its similar in weight to the B16A which came factory in the JDM CRX Sir's. The weight difference is easily balanced out with proper suspension tuning and brake upgrades.
@TopSetup yeah ive been wanting a k20a swap i have the money but my buddies and i debate about it all the time. i mean whats the perfect balance font/rear? i know rwd cars are 40/60 but a fwd im not sure

and i heard you cant really lower the car because of the oil pan
that a clean rex. I was wandering if you had race car version rack' n' pinion steering so you don't have to turn the wheel more than a 180o turn to go around corners. thanks
lol if it will fit in a crx... then it will def. fit in a prelude... the engine really isnt that big but like a h23 it slants backwards in the engine bay so u shouldnt have a problem
Best thing do to is call us up when you get all your parts. Rates vary depending on what you need done. We also have our own recommendations to make your swap complete.
The motor in our CRX has full custom mounts and we positioned it lower than the bolt in Hasport kit. The hood is a JDM style CRX hood fitted for the US head lights. Which also helps with clearance.

that a clean rex. I was wandering if you had race car version rack' n' pinion steering so you don't have to turn the wheel more than a 180o turn to go around corners. thanks

my h23a1 engine blew in my 1992 honda prelude i was thinking of getting a k20 engine in it would it fit?

lol if it will fit in a crx... then it will def. fit in a prelude... the engine really isnt that big but like a h23 it slants backwards in the engine bay so u shouldnt have a problem

The motor in our CRX has full custom mounts and we positioned it lower than the bolt in Hasport kit. The hood is a JDM style CRX hood fitted for the US head lights. Which also helps with clearance.
