The big difference in the Battle Angel movie from all the other movies James has made is that the female lead actually gets to be the source of fear, rather than just be allotted a small place in the action at a defining moment. She is not Sarah Connor but the Terminator. This movie has the potential to completely revolutionise the role of women in cinema. I think James knows this and I think that's part of the reason he wants and plans to make it.

i wouldnt be surprised if avatar was done on a $20 million budget as opposed to its $237 million budget and still make a killing at the box office. its all about using what u have, creativity, and imagination. dats wuts gonna make the movie fun to watch but a good movie needs a very good story. u gotta have detailed but not boring background information for the characters in the movie also so u can actually care about what actually happens to them. if u do this then u could have a fanbase

egglesplork - the best films and games take 10 years because if they spent less time on it just to reach a deadline, it would end up looking like movies such as transformers (not what the fans wanted) or dragonball (worse than "garbage pail kids"). if we rushed things instead of working and perfecting them (like cameron does) the industry would never evolve into better things (like cameron did with the avatar tech)
