God bless Neil for his musical tribute to Ms. Larsen. A company of great musicians all around. This song has always reminded me of an epic Western movie -- the kind they don't make anymore.
hey guys, if you have a spare minute could you check out some of my guitar-work on my channel, it would be really appreciated. It sucks to advertise like this but it seems like the only way to get exposure. Thanks if you do check them out :)
Ha! This brings back a funny memory of when I was working on their mansion in Woodside, Ca. I was doing ornamental ironwork, and metal sculpture. I did the famous Steamboat chimneys for the main fireplace. Anyway, I was working on part of the bedroom windows and Neil and Peggy both were there, getting ready to go out. Peggy comes out of the shower towelling off her hair with nothing on. First I gaped, then went, "Oops!" & looked away fast! Neil thought it was really funny! Peggy didn't!!
Prairie Wind was a truely emotional cornerstone, I believe in Neil's life. The evidence being the many times throughout the film he shed tears that one can only feel when playing a song, that you may have played a million times and you finally figured out just what it all meant. There are songs to this day that I labor through the will to hold back tears and be "professional". Being able to play music to comunicate what your heart, mind and soul feels is a gift I wil never take lightly.
Watch that fiddle player behind Emi Lou. We grew up in the same NH. He made it and I didn't. Ha. Ha. Way to go Clinton.

A correction on my part -- I meant Ms. Larson.

@Norocmorth Putting lol at the end of your jokes makes it less funny, it's the equivalent of explaining your jokes.

@misfitstattoo im just commenting on how much guitarists they had and giving my opinion on the matter which consisted of laughter.

@Norocmorth I'm just commenting on the fact that if you told that without lol, it would be funnier.
