if you've never played castlevania get this one.

order of ecclesia is good but it's not standard castlevania at ALL and will give you the wrong impression of the series

i'd get this one even if you HAVE played castlevania but OoE might be something new if you've played a LOT of castlevania

Technically OoE is closer to Castlevania Classic. DoS is easier and more in line with the Metroidvania setting but its the one that most fans are familiar with. However, considering the length of one playthrough, I suggest PoR (copies are hard to find nowadays). DoS is a good start but you'd have to play Aria first to get the full enjoyment of it (the story begins with a cliffhanger).

@Amatiramisu If you think OoE isn't 'standard Castlevania' then you haven't actually played a lot of Castlevania at all. Play the ones on the NES - OoE is MUCH closer to those than it is to the newer Metroidvania games.

If you had remember, the condemned tower is inmediatly connected with the clock tower, because you need the key that's been guarded by gergoth, in this image, the condemned tower is pretty far away (the spiral like tower), crossing the whole subterranean hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The composer's name is Michiru Yamane.

Almost all the Castlevania BGMs throughout the entire series were composed by her. The rest were by guest artists (eg. Russel Watson - "True To Your Dreams"; Castlevania COD credits theme).

I always say skull archer and une because Dmitri only copys bullet souls. That and skull archer can allow for triple digit damage after charging for a few seconds.

Either way, une allows for easy work against him.

Uh, he does copy Guardian souls, but only those that don't need to be held. I found that out the hard way using Death in bosh rush.

you can get that soul in the room between zephyr room(BOSS),(he crazy old guy who can stop the time!!) and the save point/in there you can see the flying creature on the back ground, use the MANDRAGORA SOUL to KILL em..
