  • 3D glasses ruined this movie for me. :(

I really wanna buy it so I can see it in normal vision, but it looks like they -really wanted- everyone to see it in 3D.

  • Uncharted ? xD

  • Oh my god! I love this movie soooooo much. Do you think that Steven Spielberg will make a sequel? I really really hope that he does!

  • i watched it yesterday and i simply love it, it a chase-after-chase-film and i could hardly take a breath :) but i totally enjoyed it

  • Oh my goodness I saw this today and loved it!

  • i always wondered is he real or animated scenes switch so fast i cant tell. lol XD

  • @JDR50xx, I watched it today, one of the finest examples of 3-D animation done right. Non stop adventure and cool humor from start to finish. Not bad for a family type movie at all.

  • @Wolfen443 does milu speak??? :P

  • @Fenrir2901, you mean the dog?, no. Fortunally they did not mess around with original story, but he comunicatesin his own dog way quite well, at least while he is not chasing cats.

  • Blistering barnacles!!!!!

  • cool, just grabbed the download from downloadsmpgs, com

  • it came out in the UK, it will come out on december 21st in the US

  • Where's tin tin?

  • Fantastic movie!!!! 5*****

  • uncharted: the movie

  • The theme music by John Williams is so damn gooood <3 !

  • This looks horrible. No, I won't view this one. I won't let Hollywood ruin my precious childhood memories.

  • wow we used to read this when we were kids :) we used to see this movie in our imagination in each paper we read

  • does somebody knows if the music of this trailer is a temp track?

  • hahaha fail movie

    budget : $130m

    world wide gross :$55m

  • @bavv01 Hasn't even released in the US yet so could do way better on the Dec 21 release.

  • Wow, you have to watch a commercial to see a commercial.

  • @stangoldsmith, yup you now do not even the option of turning it off sometimes.

  • @stangoldsmith IKR?

  • belgishe fim eeeuuuhhhjjjj!

  • magnificent squares on your computer ..

  • WHAT UNICORN ??!!!!

  • @CowsandZelda i think the ship is the unicorn, something to do with its name, or something like that.

  • adam howden is a better voice actor for tintin

  • Oh Tintin...*Blushes*

  • Lean en nuestro sitio un amplio informe en español sobre la nueva película de Tintin, con declaraciones de Spielberg y Jackson y muchos detalles sobre la creación y el rodaje del filme!

  • I love French cartoons

    Lol I joke

    I mean Belgium

  • Man I used to love the Comic and cartoons of Tintin!! I can't wait for, especially when you have two epic movie directors like Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson behind it! This is going to be awesome!!!

  • i hope they use some of the music from the TV series, that stuff was epic

  • @Vanilly06 no the smurfs and tintin are originally french language comics they both have hollywood movies this year.

  • @jessalba2010 lol thats not what he said, he said they are both created in Belgium which is true. Hergé is a belgian cartoonist ( real name Georges Rémi born in Etterbeek - part of Brussels) The smurfs created by Peyo ( Pierre Culliford born in Brussels) but they were released in french 1st because both creators came from a french speaking belgian family

  • Tintin >>> Potter thumbs up

  • Dude Steven Moffat is the writer! This ought to be good!

  • Tintin and the Smurfs are both from Belgian cartoonartistes, get it into your heads ppl ! They're not french at all

  • AAH I LOVE TINTIN!

  • Looks good

  • I've read a lot of the comic books and I love Herge's drawing style. This movie seems to incorporate the same style. It looks really good and I'm super excited to see it(:

  • the smurfs and now tintin being released as movies the same year, great, whats next asterix or lucky luke, maybe one day,all great french comics.

  • @jessalba2010 asterix and lucky luke already had their live action movies in Europe with mostly french and belgian actors check it on imdb. The 2nd asterix movie was the best of the three, as for lucky look it was so-so.

  • Spielberg at the helm? Mediocre at best.

  • Billions of bilious blue blistering barnacles!!!

  • @ueharakikumi I love Captain Haddock!!!

  • I really hope he doesn't screw this movie up, but we will see. I'm super stoked either way. I wonder, will TinTin and Haddock meet in this movie? Comic wise they are supposed to me in "The Crab with the Golden Claws" if I remember correctly.

  • @xxxslash616xxx yes they will the movie will be a combination of Crab with Golden Claws, the secret of the unicorn, and red rackhams treasure. The sequel that peter jackson will direct a year later will be 7 crystal balls & Prisoners of the sun, or maybe the Moon series

  • omg, a super cool kids movie with a BUD LIGHT commercial

  • I would go and watch this but hes ginger.

  • loved tintin comics n cartoons...well at last movie...i hope astrex muvi will come as wel..

  • @suwasm theres already epic asterix movies released in France, where asterix is from

  • Stephen Spielberg, Steven Moffat, Peter Jackson, Edgar Wright, Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, Daniel Craig & John Williams...all these awesome people and i still dont want to see this movie!?!?!?!?

  • haha i thought at first tintin would still have his little dotted eyes

  • 0:25 Total Win

  • Tin Tin - Brings back good memories.

I'm sure Spielberg and Jackson will do a good job.

  • Spielberg

    Jackson

    Moffat

    BRING IT ON

  • I hope this doesn't sound like I'm bragging, but I can barely wait for the movie to come out. I'm just in ecstasies.

  • I am Sam & Dick Tracy together

  • I am.... speechless...

  • its REALLY like andrew1schaeffer said, you dont notice that its animated for long time

  • Only one problem: Tintin's hair needs to be pushed back a little more. It's too straight. lol

  • Amazing animation

  • I didn't notice this was animated until :32

  • Thompson Thompson FTW :D haha If they follow the comics, there can't be anything wrong with this movie :D

  • holy sweet motherfoolin' golly gosh jimminy cricket this looks AMAZING.

  • this has to break the record of The Lion KIng

  • I dont know abou this ... I'm not sold

  • I love Tintin but his face here looks annoying

  • EEEEEEE so excited XD cant wait cant wait cant wait.... seriously i cant wait!!!!!!

  • weird im from belguim and i grew up reading those comics

i never thought tin tin would become so big

  • may i please ask and dont go all caps on me but i have never read any of the tintin books and wasnt aware of them. The movie looks fantastic though.

  • is that animated or real film??

  • @TheKkd123 it's motion capture which means that the actors were on a sound stage and they wore suits with little sensors all over their bodies, so when ever they move they are creating the movement of each of their characters. No animators create their movement just the actors. Examples of films that did this are Avatar, Beowulf, A Christmas Carol, The Polar Express.

  • im just wondering, with a FULLY animated film... how much does stlberg actually direct here...? since the whole movie is created by other people, and not sphimself, is he just puttin his name on to make more or what ?

  • @fall0rn This isn't a fully animated film. This was a Performance Capture film, like Beowulf, A Christmas Carol, or the Na'Vi sequences from Avatar. Spielberg was directing real actors on a virtual reality set. Also, he was able to design whatever camera angles and movements he wanted because in an animated environment you can place the camera essentially anywhere. Spielberg is also known for being very involved in his films' production design, so yes, he was involved a TON.

  • I LOVE Tintin! Can't wait for the movie.

  • tintins face doesn't look like the one in Herges cartoon

  • Let's go deep into the Uncanny Valley YAY n_n

  • i'm about to have a nerdy moment....oh god

  • Not bad, but I'll wait until premier, before giving out my opinion. :)

  • I don't remember seeing a boat ride a flood as it washes over the desert in the cartoon...

  • I have a feeling this story will be altered from the original...which is good in a way!

  • lol sequel incoming

  • watch,,,,,,,,,"TINTIN IN THAILAND"watch?v=zSa-CIBeGro

  • 0:55 La Roux?

  • Damn its long since I saw Tintin on the TV when I was a kid. Brings back so many amusing memories =P

  • YAY!!!!!!!! TINTIN!!! Belgians make such good comic books, really! :o

  • wahey!! Go Snowy!!

  • I GOT A BONER !!!!!

  • i have not been this exited for a film since...... ever, fantastic animation and a great story to choose for a film

  • AWESOME! i am a huge fan of Tintin since i was a kid, i have the cartoon series and book collection, this is gonna be awesome. :)

  • Where's the classic main theme? :(

  • The only real problem I have is that I wish the animation is a bit more cartooney. Use motion capture for moving the legs, arms, and lips, but not use it for the faces. It looks a bit too much like the actors than the characters. Other than that, it looks very interesting.

  • @chrisetrata2 Performance Capture is a great new technique to give animation real emotion, hard to achieve with only Motion Capture, like in the past. But yes, I agree in the fact that Tintin looks too much like the real actor and not like the character in the comic book.

  • awesome its here finally!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • fan boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy:D

  • Speilburg and Jackson will deliver!

    Thomson and Thompson ftw!

  • This is as 'real' Tintin can get without losing the style of Herge. I'm super keen for this movie. Best books to have during quiet reading time back in primary school.

Loving the classic Thompson&Thompson newspaper look.

  • my entire childhood is on the line here haha

Please Spielberg, tell me you didnt fuck this up...

  • I have to say, I know this movie would look absolutely terrifying, and what a surprise, I was right. The classic example of doing something clever when doing something simple would have more than sufficed. Did anyone *really* have that much of a probpem with the actors not looking exactly like the chartacters? No, of course not. But, having learned absolutely nothing from the fiasco that was The Polar Express, Jackson and Spielberg have given us this...this incredibly creepy load of shit.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 : You remind of all those youtubers who said avatar looked super fake and was going to be a box office disaster ...

  • @jubberdada Yes, Avatar was a box office smash, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it was a load of COMPLETE CRAP. A braindead, manipulative rip off of Dances With Wolves and Dune with terrible acting and a corny story we'd all seen a hundred times before. Yeah, you got me there alright! (snort)

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 @ProjectFlashlight612 You want live-action Tintin, then watch the 60s films. What is so wrong with Spielberg and Jackson going outside of their comfort zones and try to bring a comic to more accurate life? I've been a Tintin fan for years, and I didn't have a major gripe with this. Also, Polar express was Robert Zemeckis.

  • @SavageBroadcast Glad to see you have faith in them too, buddy.

  • cause everyone knows that he has a completely round face that's totally realistic. he's supposed to be a teenager... that's how it translates to the real world. if you wanted the graphics to be a bit more faithful to the original, they did make a cartoon for television.

  • Christ, that face.

  • Did you guys even see his face at the end? Does that remind you of Tintin in any way?

And the twins peeking through the newspaper didn't look funny at all, like in the comics. It looked creepy.

Everything here looks creepy and shiny, and the whole vibe of the film feels like they're trying to make it into a standard Hollywood adventure, rather than capturing the feel of the comics.

If you think this looks awesome, well... may God have mercy on your soul.

  • @ShoRyuBarbie Basing your entire view on a teaser? I'm a HUGE fan of Tintin, and I thought this looked good. Be grateful that Spielberg and Jackson, men who know adventure movies like the back of their hands, are doing this as opposed to some hack like Michael Bay or Uwe Boll. Plus, they're also Tintin fans, so you could not ask for a better combo.

  • @SavageBroadcast dude have you ever even seen Alone in the Dark? best. movie. eveeeeerrrr

  • @SavageBroadcast Exactly that.

  • @ShoRyuBarbie If you don't like it, then that's fine, but don't go and call people stupid because they see past the cliché argument that is Polar Express. If people have faith in it, who are you to tell them they're wrong.

  • Oh god.

I honestly can't tell if I like it or hate it.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

  • Mes garcons sont tellement content et moi aussi !!!

  • This looks amazing thumbs up ...

  • This looks shit. Why the hell did they make CGI-characters? They look so ugly and boring.

  • @ruusteri In the spirit of the comics.

  • @ruusteri making a Tintin movie with real actors (well, cgi also uses real actors) will look terrible. In fact, there is already an old movie and the actors look ridiculous.

  • @emdiuenmaxi One of the films was good, but only for hardcore Tintin fans, so you're right. Those films only exist these days to be prime examples as to how live action wouldn't work.

  • I can't wait!

  • wow hang on guys tintin is coming T_T

  • YESSS i finely a real good looking tintin :D enough with the old animated ones

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

    I cant wait

    I cant

I cantI cantI cantI cantI cantI cant

    I cant

    I cant

    I cantI cantI cantI cant

    I cant

    I cant

    I cant wait

  • awesome... waiting for the release day

  • at last , keep them coming ......

  • @shoyRyuBarbie yes you were right they mixed the crab with the golden claw with The secrets of the Unicorn... Still I think its due to make the movie commercially viable and also to create some additional action sequences.... Lets wait till December for final verdict.... Mind it that they did'nt named the movie The secrets of the Unicorn........

  • I know Mo-Cap sucks and whatever, but I can't help genuinely smiling when I saw this. So... I don't know.

  • I think ShoRyoBarbie is wearing a pair of rose-coloured nostalgia glasses...

  • Anyone who clicked the "like" button obviously has never read the original comic book. This is gonna suck so hard. Leave my childhood alone!

  • @ShoRyuBarbie You shouldn't have written that. Now I am forced to click on the like button.

  • @ShoRyuBarbie Nonsense - i read and loved all the comics as a kid and this looks really good so far. mind you it might still suck but that whole fanboy mantra of "my precious childhood" is just... well very childish actually! :P

  • @ShoRyuBarbie we should wait and see it might be really good from the looks of it it might be all of the comics in one movie so we shell see

  • @ShoRyuBarbie Seriously? You're basing your opinion on what, 1 minute of the film? Most of which is taken up by title cards? Now that really is childish,.

  • Well the got Snowy right :p

  • Oh crumbs... YES

  • I'm really looking forward to this =)

  • fail
