These things work big time in real self defense situations. I have a brother that carries one in his car and he's used it in three instances which ended the confrontation with just one strike. These things are practical self defense weapons and I plan to get one soon. At least here in Oklahoma I can just pop into my local sports outlet and get one for as low as $20. God bless America, lol.

I just bent my 21 inch ESP baton during training.
I had to hit it with a hammer to make it straight again ... looks brand new now lol.
If you carry your baton with you also carry your hammer in case you need to fix it after your fight.
