This has to be the best machinimatography (machinima cinematography) I've ever seen. Nice work. I love the voice actors. You have fleshed out their characters pretty well. However (and I understand this movie is for entertainment purposes), the plot (or rather the plot progression) may need some work. Other things that were a little off were that only the one Elite saw them crouching in a fairly level area (2:15-2:27), and the fact that Elites are carrying human weapons. Can't wait to watch #2!

As much as you are right about the Hornet, they didn't want it to get into space, if you watch the prequal (Part 4) it explains they want it to reach a ship floating above Valhalla. Also, Spartans are able to go into space anyway, like Master chief did in Halo 2.

personally, i think this is a reasonably good machinma, with a few flaws, the storys decent, voices are unique, but theres just a few things that get me, i disliked how the characters randomly appeared with turrets, g-hammers, and trip mines? i also disliked how the fusion coils looked set up (eg. 5:02) i really liked how the settings came together, and the chase secne was intence, with a bit of spit and polish, it could be a great machinma, dont boot it out the door before it brushes its teeth
