  • @progboyarchitect As a diehard fan of Priest. I say fuck no he doesnt sound like that dumb hick Hetfield. lol

  • Bad ass vocalist. This band is bad ass!

  • When he doing this project I saw them here. It was like seeing god...a METAL GOD! Small venue and just blew the doors off it, amazing show back in the day.

  • "Fight performing Immortal Sin with Rob Halford" - No, its Rob Halford with Fight.

  • That’s my man right there.

  • Cute children!!!

  • Tough trying to find this album now

  • Comment removed

  • u can find it on Halford's official website =)

Note: he/his management decided to not only remaster it, but 'remix' the whole album, i.e. you will not get the same mix as the original. I, for one, didn't like the new mix; but got it anyway from his site since i support Rob and the band. The new mix is super-deep on the bass, the vocals are extra slick (and with tons of echos/delays, sound like an 'echo chamber' at times), the guitars left/right pan is played with, and the drums are heavy.

  • u can find the original album (with the raw mix that i personally prefer) on amazon~

btw, back to the song: this might be the most rocking (and heaviest/expressive) 'come-out' song ever!~ it's so obviously what rob is singing about here; and so cool that he's able to express himself in such a brave way (tough to do in a the macho-metal world back then~)

imo, he have a tons more balls than alot of straight guys, respect !

  • yeah you could be right about dio...rollthelosingdice.., but halford can sing ..., gotta give him that.. specially the high notes.......

  • gotta be the best singer in the heavy metal world............

  • @rollthelosingdice dio is dead halford lives forever

  • @rollthelosingdice Dio is among the greatest of all times, but Halford is definitely the best. His voice, range and this special tone that only he can create is just so sick and amazing.

  • @rollthelosingdice Ronnie is great!! But I prefer Rob!!

  • @rollthelosingdice no te lo crees ni tu

  • @rollthelosingdice

    HAHAHHAHA

I'll let this slide as you're clearly an aspergers riddled idiot.

  • @rollthelosingdice i agree with you

of course halford vocal range is much wider than dio had (i mean halford's high notes - screams). but when you were going to dio concert you never thought "i wonder will he manage to sing this song... or that song..." u never thought whether his voice will be in shape tonight or not - his voice was always(!) brilliant !

    my top 3 is:

    1 = freddy mercury

    2 = dio

    3 = halford

  • @seva1988 Halford was able to sing any priest song (maybe Painkiller wasn't perfect), until 2005 where he began to be old for all theses screams...but what he's still doing at 60 is amazing :)

Just wanted to say that ;D

  • @LinkyHYC Halford even in his best years lost his voice from time to time - he is a great singer, but he never could sing perfecly till the very end of concert - by the time of 8th or 9th song he almost always got his voice strained. but anyway i really adore his vocal and his music !

  • @seva1988 Well, you gotta take a look at 1981 bootlegs or 1988, it's almost perfect from the begining to the end :p

But who cares, he's still doing a killing job live, so who cares ? :)

  • @LinkyHYC i'm familar with this concerts - yeah, they are great. And Turbo tour 1986 too. i'm so depressed that Priest didn't include Moscow in their tour-schedule...

  • @seva1988 You mean, in their epitath tour ? I've seen them in Paris, was the best tour since the reunited one in my opinion...

  • @LinkyHYC yeah, epitath tour. i've seen them in Moscow in 2004 (just after "Angel of retribution" album) - and it was... hell, it was really great. and it was sold out - so i don't know why they decided not to come to russia this time((

  • @seva1988 Bad luck for you :( Anyway, Priest, Dio are amazing live, and are amazing no matter what :)

  • @LinkyHYC dio.... 2 times i've seen his as DIO, and once - with Heaven'n'Hell

i even got a photograph - me and Dio in 2005 not long before his solo concert in Moscow, but it'll be surely considered as spam

  • @seva1988 Never had the chance to see him :(

  • @LinkyHYC dio was really very kind & nice person. he was smiling all the time and pated me on the shoulder - i guess i looked a little bit nervous and confused...

ok, but, unlike me, u saw Priests this year !

  • @seva1988 He was one of the last big old guys...

Yeah, and the whole show was perfect, maybe not on the Sentinel where rob can't do it anymore - even the painkiller sounds nice ! Rob's best voice since 2004, but maybe the tour where he let the crowd sing the most :p

  • @LinkyHYC well, who's able to sing such high notes at his age? - it's utopia.... but notwithstanding i won't ever trade him for Ripper Owens ))

  • @seva1988 Of course, it's not unleashed in the east, but for sure, rob's voice is cleaner than nostradamus tour, and gotta say he made a almost perfect perfomance this day...check some video of this tour, you'll see :)

Well, rob is rob and ripper is ripper, but ripper did a good job and actually allowed rob to come back...and allowed the priest to survive too :)

  • @rollthelosingdice

lol comment on your own video marked as spam.

  • @rollthelosingdice

Dio was*, but you do realise that this isint a fact, but a opinion.

  • @rollthelosingdice Can you back up your statement with some facts? What exactly makes Dio a better singer than Helford. And also please explain if you can what is the criteria of your comparison?

I doubt that you'll come up with something rational.

  • @king666nothing There is not any falsetto in Dio's voice. I agree Ronnie is a little better but Rob knows how to work those vocal chords. I am a singer. Dio's natural range is higher and harder to cover.

  • Respond to this video... Just heavy heavy. So metal it rusts.

  • @rollthelosingdice They're different styles, you can't comparise each one with the other. Anyway, they're both metal gods!!! \m/ >.< \m/

  • @JEANNE0416 ...says Mr Lucciano Pavarotti!!

  • @JEANNE0416 Rob is 2nd. Ronnie James Dio is the best heavy metal singer.

  • @BrutalAggressions watch children of the sea live from dio and tell me he is not the best singer

  • @JEANNE0416 Correction: He IS the best singer in the heavy metal world!

  • Well this couldn't sound less like Judas Priest XD

    Pretty cool though!

  • kick ass song and a damn great singer

  • OMG I lost this "tape" in 2000 and just rediscovered it ..AWSOME music just AWSOME

  • halfords got a fuckin awesome voice !

  • Only just discovered this , absolutely awesome song!!!

  • why are there so many children? great song!! great band!!

  • @mynamesjack5, Good question.... because they could be accused of pedophylia for this unsuitable choice

  • @Pepitorizzi69 has nothing to do with pedophylia, listen to the lyrics

  • @rollthelosingdice maybe be you can help me to understand the meaning of the lyrics - what d'you think it's about?

  • @seva1988 the first verses look like he's talking about hell, "choked on a love that's judged from an evil eye" "lost in a world of hurt through a sense of doubt", from the video its showing adultery with the teenagers, its hard to explain why they show the kids, it looks like when the grow up as sinners they will burn but showing the innocent look they had as children. Those are my thoughts.

  • @rollthelosingdice interesting thoughts. thanks!

now i guess it has something to do with children's innocence and sins that never die (immortal) - sins that are forever by our side

anyway, i still think this clip (and + song) has some pedophyle means - in the finest sense of the word

  • Thumbs up if you have the Original copy!!!!!! Hellyeah its in my car right now !

  • @LimaUnite

Fook I was about 16 when this was released, couldnt get this anywhere!! God bless the torrents!

  • Criminally Underrated Band

  • @bbussey1967 I couldn't agree more. This is one of Halford's greatest projects outside of Priest, it deserves way more recognition than it gets.

  • Oh, the 90's. How I love you.

  • great song!!!

  • someone got rid of this video online so I thought I would post it back up, great vid.

  • @rollthelosingdice You did well, I was searching just for Fight's videos, TNX

  • @rollthelosingdice thanks i remember it being up some time ago

  • great classic of the metal

  • Fucking awsome.. never enen knew there was a video for it!! \m/

  • Good and heavy song. Halford looks so fucking different. He has gained a lot of weight now.

  • One of my favorite songs
