I guess, the worst decision was by buying BAR in the begining. A team that was struggling to begin with. Chassis was shit... key engineers was shit.... and no one seems to do anything about it. It's like their team sole purpose was to suck Honda money dry and thats about it. I much rather see them as an engine supplier then full on race team. It's like they've barely can walk and they choose to run?
Just a shame that it's all in the day of the pass..... sigh.... I still can't believe Honda pull the plug on current F1 program. And they were doing horribly with ex-BAR Team at Brackley. Even with all that money pouring in, and then finally we get some light with Ross Brawn joining, then the credit crunch added another blow to withdraw. Dispite 09 car is all new design, as well as new regulation. Honda Japan was feed up with all those empty promises from Brackley team since 2000.
Even though its a fully designed Honda F1 Car, you can see features of the 1991 McLaren-Honda MP4/6. Shame Honda didnt enter back then as a full constructor.
It's actually a first complete F1 car done by Honda as an engineering exercise. I believe this is back in 93? And it used the V12 engine back them which has VTEC valvetrain system unlike now adays with Puematic valve.
i think, thats the car designed by Harvey Postelwaithe for the 1998 honda come back project, and stopped after his death and restart with British American Tobacco in 2000
Yeah right ... 1998 and the car looks like 1990-1993 car ? and even the whole body is open like in early 90's and late 80's models. You dont know nothing about F1.
It is Honda RC101/RC101B from 1993 the first "after hour" project of F1 car from Honda. It was tested by Nakajima

このマシンは大阪狭山市の某学園の玄関に飾ってあるそうで、マシンのエンジンは今でも学園のイベントでかけているそうです。カウルのサイドポンツーンには某学園の校章が張ってあります。

Honda V12 engine was on "McLAREN MP4/6('91~'92) and MP4/7('92)".
・MP4/6;RA121 engine
・MP4/7;RA122E/B engine
RA122E/B is New matic valve system engine,
there was not vtec system.

Definitely a V-12. It sounds similar to the MP4/6. It might even be the same engine...
