  • Huh?

  • Poor guy. That soda goes right through him. Literally.

  • He took his soda into the bathroom? Ew.

  • What program flash or ms paint

  • Neither. Each frame was created on GIMP, and it was animated using Final Cut Pro.

  • What was used for the noise when he was getting a refill?

  • It's a sound effect I found in the UCSC Slug Film Database. There weren't any soda machine noises, so I used an ice-clinking noise instead.

  • Is it just me, or did this film get brighter and brighter as it progressed?? I loved it! You're amazing.

  • Doesn't look like it gets any brighter to me.

  • Then I guess it was me...Or youtube's pixels.

  • My only issue is that the title is hard to read - it looks like "Soda Jep." It was nicely done, though - I especially liked the accurate drawing of the drink machine itself, without using any brand names. Well done.

  • Yeah, the contrast only gets heightened with YouTube compression when I upload stuff. I don't know why. It doesn't happen to other people.

  • Wow, I DON'T want to know what's up with his plumbing! Yeesh.

When I'm at a fast food joint, I usually get two drinks and one for the road. That's the smallest combo size; why pay more when you've got free refills?

(Oh, and I barely noticed the crowd murmuring in the background.)

  • Well, animation allows me to compress time. It always takes me at least an hour, but having a bathroom readily accessible to customers means something like this probably happens pretty often, tough at a much slower rate.

  • There was one thing i didn't understand. why was the guy going to the bathroom everytime he refilled his soda?

  • lol

  • Lol, nicely done.

So your passion lies in comedy and animation, then? Hmmm... I wonder.

  • it would be funny if some guy that worked there saw him being a soda jerk, and the working guy wrote "no" above "free refills"

  • d(^_____^)b

  • That was cute. You have talent everywhere.

  • Wow! Now that's something different for a change. Not bad. I actually fount this to be funny! LOL

  • really good, especially how you used only several sounds and no voice acting to depict the typical rule of free refills. Pretty smooth animations, though, I'm assuming this took you abut a weeki and a half? (I don't know much about animating, so I can't make an accurate guess)

  • It took me the weekend, actually. This was originally going to be live-action, but my failure to acquire any actors by the time my appointment to shoot on Saturday afternoon meant I had to animate it instead.

  • That was really good 5*'s!

  • An accurate depiction of the fast food industry experience.

  • lol nice, ive done some animation n it is hard and long, as long as u planned it out though then yuo should be fine:P good job

  • Awesome!

Oh btw how long did it take you to make this?

  • I spent much of Saturday drawing everything, then much of Sunday putting all of the frames together. I spent today animating it, which surprisingly only took me about two hours.

  • cool

  • ...yep

  • ok...then...?

  • No, you're not. You're the fourth one to comment.

  • lol! he stole the ketchup!

  • ahaha lol

  • lol well done

really made him look like a jerk...lol
