I found a way this trick won't work. If you get two or more of the cards you want next to each other. I suppose you would need to improvise, but the trick would need to be changed on the fly.

How to mod this trick to work in your language;

take the 4 aces(or any 4 same cards) and think how many letters does each word of the sentence "the card is"(in your language of course) has.write down the numbers then decrease each number by one and that's the formula you'll have to use.

For all the french magicians the numbers are : 4 2 4 4

But I believe the trick is easier with 0 1 3 2 (for english) - or 0 2 4 4 for french : this way, when it comes to the celebrity, the spectator's card is first on the bottom. The only thing you have to do is to re-count et re-spell : this way the bottom card comes to the top (you can also just flip over the whole pile).

@0PercyJackson0 I would be slightly messy, so you can grab cards after one of the chosen cards to put on top. So if you have in your hand (presuming the spectator's card is an 8), K, 3, 9, 8, 8, you should grab the 3 and the 9 and place them between the 8's. Just try not to make it too obvious. If I wasn't clear enough, let me know so I can make it easier to understand.

you know you could just have the card in the 1st position and spell the cards onto the table (so the selected card is on the bottom) then reverse the order by counting them again like your just trying to make sure you got everything right ;) then you won't have to panick as much if your not light on your feet!

OK, but how about the names that do not have 4 or 5 letters? Let's say Jim Morrison? What would you suggest to do then? Count to five and the rest place on the bottom? That will be visible by a spectator...

Not bad another technique to do if you have a little experience with card is do a side-steal after casually fanning then out. If done smoothly it'll fly right by people and is like intermediate. Cool.
