Your pan temp was far too low... and to say 8 mins is enough to ensure that mince between two slices of potato is cooked is incompetent and dangerous and suggests that no one has had any kind of formal training!
If you going to attempt something like this at least do your homework and do it right! Viewers will assume that every other shop operates this way!
Look tasty..... Seen them made with corned beef. Could be good with Chilli beef too.

@MrMarkBray Obviously the mince is precooked, hence the reference to savoury mince.
The pan temperature was at 180 degrees C.
Have you had a bad day or something? you have been hyper critical on everybody's videos.
Why not make some of your own, give us the benefit of your experience and put us all in the know.

I have tasted 'patties' from Brennand's in Kendal, these are made using mashed potato. So the texture is different. Ours being firmer.
