  • are bobers, carolina rigs, or spinners best for trout

  • Mad respect for simply throwing the phone back so it's not interupting... I so hate bad phone manners.

  • love the cell phone chunk lol

  • Dude help me out if you can cause you cast with authority. If I want to use a one ounce weight carolina style with a six foot plus leader, how do I cast that thing with a baitcaster without hooking myself or putting out an eye? Serious question and all the things that can go wrong is damn funny. But like they say you can't catch fish if your line is not in the water. I might just do this with a spinning rod.

  • @ferkco sorry it took so long to reply. I didn't even realize I could. First off, why are you using a 6ft leader? Are the conditions requiring a leader that long? I've never casted a 6' leader but my advice would be to bring the rod back slowly so the leader won't be flipping around and just lob it as smooth as you can. Try shortening it up if you can and you will see your distance improve a bit. Good luck, man!

  • where ya fishin? starkville?

  • fishing at a pond today and decided to use a carolina rig. watched your video on my iphone and caught a bass first cast using your instructions. thanks. good vid.

  • great video

  • Hey fisherman. Craolina rig is a form of set up for your hook and weight. It really has nothing to do with your rod and reel. Many other videos showing carolina, texas and dropshot rigs.

  • Excellent video!

  • good video

  • man you can catch anything on a jig. Glad you explained it

  • fill a worm up with air using a worm blower or syringe and you will be deadly using a c-rig

  • great video

  • hshs love how you threw the phone, fishing is deffinetley more important then a txt lol

  • Great video...thanks for sharing!

  • Cool stuff dude thanks!

  • very instructive. hey, Do i need a bait capable of floating to fish this rig?

    thanks.

  • wow finaly a vid that explains how to fish a carolina rig.... thanks

  • you need some bait specific for floating. usually power bait will say floating above the label on the side. so for trout u want to use 2 egg sized pieces on the hook so it will float up. but soft baits are mainly floatable.

  • Nice video. Simple but educational.
