Make the footprint a vector shape by selecting the toes and main foot shape with the magic wand, make a new layer and fill with black. Resize. Delete the bottom layer.

thank you for making your videos. I have bought them from your website and they very high quality and very cheap. I found out in trying to make a brush from a path, not a shape that the define brush is greyed out when the color of the brush path is white, or it says program error. When I stroked the path with black it was availiable, and I was able to make a brush then made it white in the color palate

After I create the shape I want with the pen tool and connect them all together I am not able to select the option for 'Define brush preset' any help?

I like this tutorial, only one suggestion. You only need to create one brush shape from vector at 2000px X 2000px (maximum size), it saves you space on your brush palette and you can always make it smaller without losing quality

In order to use the edit > define brush option you need to first go to your layer palette by default in your lower right hand corner and right click on the eye icon of the layer you wish to make a brush out of..then select show/hide all other layers and now you can edit > define brushes hope this helped those not understanding..

It happened to me cuz my page was to big so i minimized the size of the project and then it worked

hmmm... Me too sometimes "Define Brush Preset! is disabled. I think that the image is so much big for the penel size. Try to get the image smaller =)

Argh I know how to do the brush but it doesn't allow me to make it... damn it damn it damn it. It's becoming a pain aswell because I love Photoshop, but something (the settings perhaps) won't let me to use it properly!!!

what is shourtcut for Undo in Photoshop

when i press CTRL + Z i can go back just by 1 step, and if i need to undo more steps i'm forced to go into history tab and select from list step which i want..

and in your video i saw that you can actualy go back multiple times without using history tab, do i need to make some macro or shortcut or.. how to do that...
