Sounds like the valves are just a tad loose. I assume solid cam in that? Nice clone by the way!

Thanks racing division.It was your video on youtube that i looked at to get some of the finer details in my GT350R.Most of the replica's are not correct your's is the best i have seen.As you say it is expensive and painstaking to get it correct.The car is not yet finished but getting closer.Hoping to be at Goodwood may see you there.

Thanks for the positive comment.The mussy has fia race papers and the 289 is dynoe'd at 400bhp its backed up by a 4spd top loader,9" rear (nodular) with 3.89 gears.
