  • People.

This is a video game. Calm the fuck down and enjoy.

No one cares if its spam.

No one cares if it isn't.

  • Nobody could out-FB Ryu in this game, not even Sagat. 11 frame startup 39 frame recovery on all strengths. Those were the days...none of this 13 frame startup crap (SFIV series).

  • As a vega player all I can say is I would dodge.....

  • Throw a thousand more fireballs Ryu, even when you are 2 feet away. No, not a noob, just someone who doesn't need to rely on cheap ass shit to win a match.

  • @sserpent21 When the characters only have three specials and six attacks, there is no such thing as spam.

  • @S0ryiu Sorry, but I would try to win by not relying on the SAME move over and over and over again.

  • @sserpent21 And you can't expect everyone to play by your rules. That's kind of arrgant, don't you think?

  • @S0ryiu no, no matter how you spell it. Go play your cheap boring way that ANYONE can play. Ironic considering the video is Ken and Ryu. When Ryu says in Street Fighter III "Trying something new is to explore your potential" clearly the Ken and Ryu crowd ignore that.

  • @sserpent21 Dude, I'm a Guile player... sheesh (see: arrogance at it's finest.)

  • @S0ryiu ggod for you. Keep holding down back all day long.

  • @sserpent21 Dont get mad that your getting out-zoned. Most people that just spam dont have a back up plan since they dont zone properly.

  • @sserpent21 *arrogant... (silly keyboard omitted an O.)

  • i always thought on snes in 1992 that shoryuken is meaning "FOR YOU KIDS!" and for that I loved SF2 on snes lol! =)

  • shoryuken sounds like "sure you can" XD

  • great fight! good to see that using the old lame hadoken spam doesnt always work

  • eso tipos son hardcore pero no creo qe tengan una oportunidad contra mi

  • I hate ryu's that spam hadouken. So noob

  • @VergilX20 if you dont like fireballs and zoning, go play a different game. the rest of us know how to deal with it. its pretty easy

  • @endauthority lol. Roger. Do you have a supercade account. I will really like to meet you face to face...lol

  • @VergilX20 No I dont, I have ggpo and I only play 3s on it(not good at that game imo).

I get nothing out of playing scrubs who are afraid of fireballs though lollolololl

  • @endauthority 3s?.not good at game imo..Lmfao..Noob yes

  • @VergilX20 third strike is one of the most difficult sf games made. you arent good at any sf game. you are incapable of getting around fireballs. you cannot play sf.

  • @endauthority Ok noob. Whatever you say. but mind you, I never mentioned that i can't get around fireballs.

  • @VergilX20 you were complaining about them. knowing that fireball spacing is the absolute core of the game its very clear that you are not able to get around them.

You should play smash brothers instead, you scrub.

  • @endauthority So immature Whatever yes. You win. Not gonna argue with a kid.

  • @VergilX20 lol what a lame excuse. you could have just admitted it flat out that you werent good but you chose to complain about other people who are playing the game correctly. Talk about immature.

  • @endauthority

SSB is the most precise fighting game I have ever played.

    Problem, buttonmasher?

  • @NoumenalSoup i lold

  • am i the only one who thinks this game is hard as fuck against the cpu?

  • this will be one of the few times I feel happy for a Ken player victory

  • If Ryu didn't choke in the 2nd round he probably would of won, but good game.

  • It should be renamed as achoo.

  • HF Ryu was always a monster with his Hadouken pressure and traps. He was obviously better than Ken in this game, unlike in ST where S.Dash Ken can given ST Ryu a run for his money.

  • ken missed a few openings in the beginning, but really came back with it. good game.

  • @dsvs21 pity you're 18 years too late. Hyper Fighting came out in '92.....

  • I'm thinking of getting this some time this week are there still people online?

  • There are no cheap tactics.

  • I really wish butthurt fags would stop with their 12 year old status arguements.

These are some of the saddest comebacks i've ever seen.

  • Excellent, excellent match.

  • Major Ken comeback!

  • good skil

  • HADOUKEN!!!!!! HADOUKEN!!!!!

  • Ah the wonders of Ken Doll.

  • Comment removed

  • Ryu had an effective but lame attack strategy at the very beginning.

  • killtrocity09... Shoot1ingStar...

    SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • why is it cheap? Ryu has a faster frame-rate fireball and a slow ass single hit hurricane kick... whereas Ken has a long range dragon punch and a fast multi-hit 'egg beater' hurricane kick... The Ryu player just knew how to use his character better.

  • by 'using it better'.. i just mean that he takes advantage of his character's strong points better than the Ken player.. i dont mean that the Ryu player is better.

  • Kinda cheap.

  • u are one stupid muthafucka

  • lol i guess ur too much of a low life to have any sense of humor left in u. I didnt force u to read what i wrote dipshit.

  • well i doesnt change the fact your one stupid muthafucka ahahahhahahaaa

  • Thx i am a mother fucker lol....cuz im the one fucking ur mother lol

  • hahahaha small prick bastard my mum slapped and uppercuted your facce out the window small dick bicth ahahahahaahaa

  • well if your sucking a mans cock i bet anyone will call you gay faggot ahahahahhaa

  • Ryu was cheap than a bitch.

  • i dont understand why peopleuse the low version of attack like a low dragon punch how ken was doin

  • the stronger the punch you use, the higher you go, and if you miss then you leave yourself wide open. That's why sometimes it's better to use a weaker version.

  • thats right.. and even the lower dragon punches do pretty good damage at close range, or when countering.

  • how can u do a backward senppu-kyaku?

  • jump backwards and do immediately do it in the air.

  • Ryu is a spammer Oh My God!

  • nice play I would like to match you :)..

  • battle

  • yeah dude match sounds wierd.

  • Glad Ken won, the Ryu player was just a cheap player.

  • lol only scrubs would think projectiles are cheats.

  • you guys crying about too many hadoukens are fucking noobs lol

  • @itsgenji amen

  • the ken player suxxxxxxxx

  • nice vid....

brought back my memories of skool

  • ryus's a damn cheater thats whyh ken's better

  • dont hate the player hate the game

  • ryus's a damn cheater thats whyh ken's better

  • please do some practice you play like shit!!

  • Ryu player is playing WAY too cheaply. He keeps spamming Hadoken.

  • noob

  • agree, ArkDelgato is a noob

  • first off...how can this be a tournament? it's gotta be some of the worst playing i've ever seen. ryu is so predictable i bet i could get a 90 perfect off him both rounds.

and ken, why didn't you jump in every single time ryu did a fireball and then ANOTHER fireball, totally predictably? ken rules in this game btw

  • streetfighter was ace songs were owned by capcom alpha/lyra and yoko shimomura =D it was just a wonderfull classic game love it so much ace =D

  • ken sucks. ryu owns

  • How about, Ken is an interesting character, while all Ryu can do is spam Hadoken?

  • How ken is an interesting character ? Ken is the cheapest character ever along with chun li.

And spaming hadoken needs more skills than you think.

  • I agree whenever im kickin kens ass to hell he keeps doing shoryuken until i die i call it horeyuken LOL!

  • Akuma kicks the shite out of both of them

  • anybody know what street fighter was able to do any move in the air, throw about 8 sonic booms. fireballs, etc. and be able to change character while playing? or was that only rigged arcades?

  • yeah mate, bootlegged / hacked games. if I remember right there was street fighter 2 "rainbow edition", "black belt edition" and "lightning edition".. all of which were hacked / bootlegged dumps of the game. Google it.. you can even download the roms of the hacked versions. I stick the originals though

  • finally- cool!

    thanks

  • Was this Street Fighter II SPECIAL Champion Edition for the SEGA GENESIS?

  • No. It's Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting for the arcade. The arcade version is also available on XBLA and the Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 1.

  • Oh, because the sound is kinda familiar to the Genesis. And i knew about it being released on Xbox Live Arcade and Capcom Classics Collection Volume 1.

  • i think, that they both suck balls, lol, that the lamest tournament i have ever seen in my entire life.

  • who ever was ken sucked ballz

  • But he won lol

  • woa...jp yea i guess your right lol

  • i bet i can beat both of the guys who played ryu & ken in sum street fighter bitch! lol

  • the object of the game is NOT to jump.

    Fireballs force it

  • Who ever was using Ken in the first 2 round had fireball throwing issues or lack there of. Fireballs are in the game so as are throws. So you can't fault the use of either even how good or cheaply either can be used.

  • god... i have two responces there because the 1st one seemed to disappear so i re-wrote a different one and now they are both there lol

  • Fire balls is not a cheap move. Not only do you use them to attack but they are best used for control of space, any good street fighter knows this. When you fireball you either:

    1.force block damage

2.force a jump and leave opponent open for attack/counter attack.

3.get into a fire ball fight. this wouldnt be a disadvantage if your timing is good.

Ken should have did the weak dragon punch to get through these fire balls and get close to ryu as fireballs seemed to be his only srategic defence.

  • You're talking like you won some serious tournaments. Let's compete!!!

  • I agree with 'MadLeprechaun'. Fire balls are used not only for attack, they are an ideal way of controlling space. They force your opponent to:

block and lose out with guard damage.

Try jump over and you can hit them with a round house kick or dragon uppercut (ken/ryu).

Or the opponent will be forced to fireball back and if you master the timing of the fireball it wont be a disadvantage.

any street fighter worth there salt will know that the key to the game is controlling space.

  • uhh im sure for the time they actually played this match they were good. It's not like they played this last week or something

  • If you do light dragon punches and time them well, they go through fire balls. Ken should have been able to get in easier. Plus doing loads of fireballs is cheap! Well lame, no skill.

Man i love street fighter, just pulled my snes out my folks attic. Cant get enough. Is it good on 360? Can you still do the combo's where if someone doesn't manage to block the first hit you can get three or four in and daze them?

  • Using lots of fireballs isn't cheap...it's called "zoning"!! He had Ken on the ropes but made the mistake of allowing a clean "jump in" on several occasions. Without that the Ken player had trouble.

  • both of you suck with these tired ass old rookie strategies.

  • street fighter es lo maximo

  • i wanna know how he does the fireballs sooo fast

  • is this game good for the 360??

  • hyper fightings teh best version'

  • both of these players are no good... period

  • And he lost. This Ryu player is not very good -- his fireball use is not effective. He's incapable of truly reading his opponent's intent, which is how Ken scored so many jump-in combos on him and won the match; the Ken player had strategy and adapted. This Ryu relies solely on the character's natural advantages. If he were playing against a good player using any of the boss characters, he would've been slaughtered.

  • I agree. That Ryu was allowing Ken to have too many opportunities there.

  • awesome, but still ryu used the same pattern over and over, it was getting repetitive and a bit cheap.

  • Those of you bitching about the 'abuse' of fireballs, I'd suggest you read David Sirlin's book "Playing To Win". You can read it in it's entirety online at his website, sirlin . net

  • @Liqu1dSun That guy took the flavor out of street fighter when he made the HD remix. Looks bland and all the background characters looks freaky

  • What a pus abusing fireballs.

  • at least the guy using Ken didn't abuse fireballs like a mofo, glad that he won

  • Great fight! Sweet game.

  • would love 2 mate but live in uk played sf2 when i was a young lad growin up would kick arse me definately

  • alsjdlaksjd

  • あと、連続技叩き込めるチャンスでことごとく操作ミスとかしてるのがもったいない。 まぁスピード速いからしょうがいないか・・それがターボの醍醐味でもあったし。

  • "A lot of missed combo chances and control misses in this match. Well, I guess it's because the speed is so fast... That's what was so great about Turbo."

Just in case anybody wondered what yohei said.
