to all who want to unlock the new maps and creatures on this that arent on mhf2, then u have to get to 7 star rating in village cheif. in other words unlock village elder cat. your urgent quest will be hypnocatrice in gr8 frorest. from their you get all sorts of great stuff such as marathons.

the video is very exiting and thrilling, i like it. But the game itself sucks! Its like playing mhf2 all over again! Same exact missions just like in mhf2. I played for 1 week and still haven't unlocked the new areas and the new monsters. I really want to fight hypnocatrice in the great forest, but i have no idea how beacuase by playing through all the same missions just like in mhf2 i gave up all hope on trying to acess the great forest along with the new monsters. This game is a waste of time

you can carry your account from mhf2 over to unite so all the missions you have completed on there will carry over to unite as well as all your weaponry/armour and items.

To me mhfu is basically mhf2 with more missions, equipment and a few new monsters with a few improvements to the game.

I agree with you in that its the same missions but not at all a waste of time, and when you get to the better missions further on it gets quite enjoyable.
