I love IBM computers! I have an IBM ThinkCentre A60, M50, IBM Thinkpad T40, T43 and T22. All of them are kickass computers. My fave is the IBM ThinkCentre A60, the fastest one I've ever had.

I have a Thinkcentre M50 and I imagine it is a little older than yours because it is still under the IBM name. I love it, much better than my HP laptop. Then again I'm biased, I just love IBM. Mine runs plenty fast but that may be because I'm running Fedora 10. What is the CPU clock speed on yours? P.S. Love the mac as well, wish I had one.

Man your so damn lucky because i only have 2 GHz of CPU power on my Thinkcentre. How much did you buy yours for? I bought mine for a total of 1699 U.S Dollars.

mine is a Pentium 4 processor whereas yours is a core duo or pentium D.

I can't remember how much it cost, but it wasn't much as I bought it in a local supermarket xD

umm, come on dude. How long is your video? 3:25. How long is mine? more than 4-5 minutes on the Presario. So there. Mine's the slowest bar none. Don't mean to be rude, but my thinkcentre is more filled up than that and it loads a bit faster.

Maybe you didn't update your PC using Windows update. Try that. Maybe some bug is slowing down your PC

yeh it is realy bad... well nortan 360 does cost u can still download it from somewere (try and google it) and u can buy nortan 360 at pc world or any computer store. and the AVG anti virus said i had a trogan when i did not becuase it said it at random times so i did not use AVG to get rid of it so i got rid of AVG and put on nortan 360 no problems at all no virus and my pc ran much much faster than it did when i had AVG on my pc.

@hardnut909 avg pwns norton. norton IS a virus. the best antivirus is BrainAV, but you have to have really high malware experience to use that. if you dont have malware experience i recommend either kaspersky or nod32.

man i have a thinkcentre too it's a desktop not a tower but its fast on start up i mean like20-30 seconds tops you must have something slowing it down the IBM logo on mine flash and gose to xp like no time flat

my processor is older than yours, so basically what you have is like two processors working together, I have only one.

so if i have 2 GHz you have something like 4.

I have the M52, and I got OS X on it right now, but with XP Pro, it boots up within 15 seconds, very fast.

Somethings up with yours.

OS X loads by far faster than Windows XP. I have another video of an iMac booting and you can tell the difference.

I don't think it's the machine though, because I also have a Thinkpad T43 with Windows XP Pro that loads just as slowly as this one...

It could also be something bogging down the system resources.

With XP on mine, it boots up within 20 seconds, all the way to the desktop from cold boot. Mine has a SATA drive.
