  • A few things: this in NOT Spinning, it's cycling. Next, the height/length set-up is too low. Third: the standing movement is performed poorly and taught even worse. Last: this instructor is a clown.

  • spinning and cycling will do shag all for your core and you definitely dont tuck the tailbone under ,thats posterior pelvic tilt which excessively loads the discs.Youre core will always engage with any limb movement, you dont need to do anything

  • She is "legendary" unsafe and not a Spin Instructor..... next topic.

  • Man, the spinning position looks like it will tense up your upper back, possibly causing you a long-term back ache. I don't think it is a good thing if a fitness tool pulls your posture forward; already we have most of the western population tends to have their spine slightly bent inwards because our life style with desk work and reaching the hands forward for the computer or a pen. The trainers should stop recommending the moves with sitting as it makes our abdomen a screw press for the back.

  • Kind of like; "I'm desperate to get rid of my fat arse."

  • So this is spinning. I'm fucking fed up with hearing about it but atleast I know now.

  • Nice girls, do they swallow?

  • All the comments on these spin videos are negative, the people commenting base their opinions of the "right way" to do things on what either their favorite spin instructor taught or what their certifying body teaches without doing any research into the mechanics of the human body in relation to the body and into the way the human body works. If you want to know the most correct and efficient way to cycle watch pro cycling. Competition breeds research to find the best methods.

  • setup is right. says an indoor cycling instructor.

She is exactly right, esp. HP 3.

  • @wysboz im a level 3 instructor, the seat judgement is right. however everyone is different, so you may still have to adjust after your on the bike.

  • Look at her leg extension when she's at the 12 and 6 O'clock -- nowhere near extended enough.

  • @wysboz very true. it makes no sense to set someone up on the basis of only their hips. Hip to knee and knee to ankle ratios can be widely different.

  • So spinning build stamina...but would your body still be condition to run?

  • 2morrow i have my first spinning class for 50 minutes. pffffffff hope i can do it!

  • tanx dear..... really good videos

  • Ok im officially scared of going to a spinning class

  • @wysboz well said

  • I have never taken a spinning class, but i want to try. I used to like riing a bike, I didnt realzie that was all it was and I feel slightly less intimidated now. i wont feel like such a dork if I go to a class at my gym.

  • yea & we all exercise with tons of make up on

    & with a calm face

  • For anyone that truly knows the answer, a question: which is best, a stationary bike or a spin bike,a nd why?

  • @rmsolympic1 techniqly a spinning bilke because your more motivated, your on the spot, your on your own, theres different setting which forces you to do whatever whereas the staionry bike think about it when you get tired you stop and sit down, or something, also the spinning bike forces you to go faster as its quite hrd to stop. if you get me? depending on how hard you work on a spinning bike average amounth of calories to burn is 800 calories which is a hell lot. hope i helped (: x

  • Soul cycling in terms of back safety should be questioned. The best way to protect you back from injury would not be to side stretch or add weights while doing your cycling exercises. Best would be to do 40 min of cycling only then off the bike to do weights and stretching for 20 min. If Lance were ask about the extras in the spin class he would most likely be quite puzzled and state-Whats the point?

  • So according to some of you, I should bring a protractor to a spin class?

  • hi im wondering if i shud take up spinning im hoping to look good in a bikini by next summer so baiscly i want abs i have a treadmill but do u think spinning would help me slim down all over?

  • Soulcylce is NOT Spinning..... Improper and dangerous setup, as knee angle is not discussed... Spinning 101

  • @EdEsposito its indoor cycling so it is spinning, the difference is the clowns who teach it.

  • @scarred10 No, Indoor Cycling is not Spinning.

  • She is not balanced and is riding from side to side. Instructor should have caught that. Bad for the person on the bike and bad for the bike. Plus she needs to stop the bouncing up and down.

    Sorry. Not impressed.

  • Never hold your stomach in!!! Spinning is for your legs!!! Not your mid section!!

  • @CornellFam yeah i don't know if i could hold my abs flexed for 45 minutes all while pedaling like a psycho

  • Never hold your stomach in!! Relax your core

  • Never hold your stomach in!! Relax your core

  • very simple, very good

  • wow that looks hard but very helpful.
