You got no expectation. You dont love me no more. I saw your pretty smilin'. (In kings road number four.)? These kings wont live my weary friend. I saw you and I understand. You dont know or I dont care. Guys like you are everywhere. But now its time to make a sound for beat that came from underground. Cause Im a man from music scene. Born to live the greatest dream.
@jayheadj420Werner Nadolny is not featured in that video.I believe Manfred Weickorzke is on keys here....so NONE of those musicians are still with Jane as we speak.
Thanks PERSIANINNZ for the comment and your common taste you have with me in this regard.
I adore their music, they have a very unique way of conveying their music among with their pure sole to their fans like you and I and more. We Persian love Classic Prog Rock ( 1970-1979 )
Jane -are brilliant and you are a bright man to like their music. You know your music : ))
The most touching song I have ever eared from 1976 and on !!!
Singer and his Guitar are complementing the concept with NO error. They play this song very tight to gather in a way you feel every thing happening in one sole !
Great Musician they are!
Jane-1977 Live was one of their best album to my opinion !!
I loveee this song , first time i heard it , i just said it's my fav song , before it was '' a saucerful of secrets '' from pink floyd , The way he sings makess me crazyyy , like i'm highhh .... God bless u Klaus , Thank u , true artist ...

But it would even be better if you could re-download this where the audio matches the video. I know that can be a pain sometimes, but really, the difference here is to great to appreciate
This is amazing, Live at home was my first album from Jane. Even in Iran we know Jane and we love Jane and Eloy. Those bands were Pride of Hanover and Germany. Expectation is my favorite song.
I am glad I took the time to finally check this band out. It was well worth my time! They have a great psych/rock sound pretty much of thier own. Thanks for sharing.

You know I love Krautrock and my friend told me to check this band out. I am very disappointed, they sound like a second rate Pink Floyd and I hate PF. I wanted so much to like this group. I love Can and Cluster but these guys are just miserable.
I've been a huge fan of Jane ever since the 'Live at home' record but never had a chance to see them perform a gig. In '92 I spent about a year living in New Zealand when to my surprise they announced 2 gigs on consecutive nights in Dunedin NZ. On the first night as I seem to remember there were about 20 paying punters who were treated to pretty much the classic 'Live at home' record. 2nd night there were more people. I feel very lucky to have seen Jane with Klaus Hess cause he is Jane.
for everyone who loves jane and their original sound with great guitar playing as seen in this video you have to listen to klaus hess mother jane...the new guitar player of "peter pankas jane" is no comparison at all,i was really disappointed when i heard him playing jane songs! i agree to probardia: the real essence of the original jane remains to klaus hess!
I agree with you that Klaus Hess is a great guitar player, and his style was/is very special, and original, but I also think that that 'new guitar player of Peter Panka's Jane', Klaus Walz, is an exceptional talented guitar player as well. I also think he always was, and is able to play more or less like Klaus Hess (combined with his own, personal style, of course; he's not just a copycat of Klaus Hess), and therewith is quite able to keep the typical, classical Jane sound alive.
Great to see JANE as they actually were in the seventies, but also strange to realize that none of these guys still is member of the band, that still is doings gigs, and making great albums. Peter Panka, the drummer, was founding member, and stayed with the band until his death, last year. Bass player Martin Hesse, and keyboard player Manfred Wieczorke were members for only a couple of years, and the other founding member, Klaus Hess, kind of left the band to start his own band, MOTHER JANE.
you got no expectations, you don´t love me no more, i saw your pretty smiling in kings road number four
in kingsroad lived my very friend i saw you than i understand, you don´t know well i don´t care girls like you are everywhere. i´m a man, i´m man, i´m a man of music scene, born to deal the greatest dream, i´m a man from music. has anybody the lyrics of way to paradise?
Have to agree with most comments jane were so underrated in the 70's..yet they were trailblazers in terms of rock production ie: conny plank and his work with the band..killer riffs by klaus hess and awesome back-up with marty on bass..pete on drums and werner on keys..thanks for posting this vid would love to see more Jane circa 1970's
molestick, the lead singer and guitarist in this video is Klaus Hess, right ?? And I guess the bass player (who acts really lowly)must be Martin Hesse.
Do you know where Klause Hess is now? The real essence of the original Jane remains to be Klause Hess. His deep warm voice and his mesmerizing guitar melodies are absolutely astounding. molestik, God Bless YOU man. How can I get this live video. I am in London.
Jane remains to be one of the dearest, greatest and most profound rock bands of all times. "molestik" please accept my most sincere thanks for this video. PLEASE tell us where we can find the full video of this live album. I love Jane and my most favorite album is the cocept album Fire,Water, Earth & Air. Thanks a million times.
Although I think these guys are good, I can't stand but complain about that bass player. He's playing the most ugliest bass guitar I've seen, he's showing off a tad too much, and with his jumping around, he even knocks down one of the mic stands! In the words of Zappa, "Shut Up 'N' Play Yer Guitar!" The drummer also looks like Zelda from Pet Semetary.
exelente album es una pena que no sean muy conocidos aqi en los eu lo consegui online por que en las grandes tiendas de discos ni siquiera los conocen
