you haven't heard of Q?! I take it you never watched the next generation. That's the one he shows up in the most. Once per season, except for one. He was also in DS9, and in three episodes of this one.Basically the Q are omnipotent beings. They have the power to do,create or change whatever they want. This Q is a very mischievious character. He enjoys teasing the poor humans of starfleet. Of course, in TNG this tended to have dangerous scenarios, such as battle royales, but less so in Voyager.
