  • The flame looks realy pretty :)

  • how much gass does it use?

  • Thanks.

  • That really looks exactly like a real balloon burner! I thought it was a Cameron burner when I saw it. I've built my own RC burners too, but they don't look as nice as yours. I can tell by the lack of any yellow in your flame that you've really got it dialed in for max efficiency too.

  • I know you get this question alot, but what is is made of. Do you think you can send me plans. Thanks i was looking into making one for school

  • Are you going to make a envalope and basket to go with this. Nice square shooters...

  • hi

if you wanted to sell it how much would you charge for it

if not do you have the plans

i may be interested in buying

    thanks Ben

  • If enough serious interest is there, I might built to order. Not cheap.

  • ...hope you wont forget me randy! ;)

    seb

  • No way! Guess we got disconnected!

  • how much would you charge for the or plans

  • cool how did you make them do you have the plans?

  • Do you think you will ever do a production run??

I would love to put some of these under my 80cum model, and one under a 20cum model hopper ;)

    Great work!!

  • And I would do one under my Room-Ballon with 0,5m^3 hrhrhr :D

  • Thanks. Looks like I may be tooling up for some new ones.

  • if you use butan, try the same with propane, but be carefull, propane has a higher pressure! but the flame picture will be greater

  • Butane is relatively unavailable in bulk in the States.

  • the burners look very great. Did you do them on your own? The look like the big ones! But i think the flame is quite a bit small, isnt it? Which size of envelope do you want to have, about 60kubikmeters or 80?

Really nice work, i have to say!

  • Thanks. I built these to roughly 1/4 scale. They burn liquid propane, not vapor, and visible flame is not indicative of output. (In the setup shown here, they melted through a PVC pipe carrying compressed air 14' overhead.)

  • very cool burners. Do you plan on making a full flying model??

If you do just be careful will how close the envelope is to the burners as they chuck out a lot of heat side ways.

Not telling you to suck eggs but it can be seen in your video's. Still very cool that they have been sitting around fo ages.

  • These will fly, and I am exploring options and resuming production. The heat out the side is fixed by fine-tuning, I never got round to it.
