i have several of your video teachings in my favorites folder. I like that you are an older rocker yet do worship songs as well with your son-soon to be a rocker. One comment on this song is the third chord from the beginning. It sounds better if you suspend the E chord by stuffing your pinky finger under your ring finger in the same position--keep rocking dude tom from WI
congrats on the new guitar....sounds like a sweet one!! Hey on that lick just bar 5th fret E & B string with your first finger - use your middle finger on the 6th fret of the G string and then hammer with your ring finger on G string from 6th to 7th fret - hit your high E string (5th fret) - then pull off from 7th to 6th fret on G and finish with the 7th fret D string. If this doesn't help shoot me a PM - keep picking and enjoy that guitar!
awesome vid...i've nailed everything except for that last lick. can't seem to get it from what you explained. Can you let me know what that bit is again?
I dunno most of the bar chords in here but if i keep replaying this video i know i will get it ^.^ thanks for teaching in a easy and understandable way!
Hello Dale. You're a terrible teacher! You really know a lead guitar lessons from a masterly manner. It vraimnt an example to all those who would engage in this difficult business. I wish you many pleasant moments through these "methods". Bravo.
Sorry if you see a multiple post of this I was trying to fix a misspelled word and got flagged as spam.
I had been kicking this song around for a few weeks with if you will, my padawan. I had been thinking of asking you to chime in on this tune because even though other people, who did a very good job at this tune, just didn't have some of the voicing right.
Now we all hope you will do the song with your son.
hello Frank, sure appreciate you watching the video and taking your time to share the feedback......i hope the voicings i used were suitable to your ear - thanks for the idea with the boy!
There were DEAD ON as always. It's also great you are showing all the different was to play a chord. As you and I know, and the people that are learning to play should know, having those options not only increases your knowledge but can also at times enhance the sound.
Another great cover of yet another great song. I downloaded tab and worked on it for a while some time back. This makes it much easier. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
I have enjoyed many of your tutorials and would like to thank you for posting...I realize that this song is played with 3 acoustic guitars but for a single guitar part the second chord might be an A which then leads to the Esus and E.
hello my friend - as always thanks so much for giving this a look! I'm afraid my Collings is a Martin copy!!! You come on any time and we'll pick em both sir.......hope you are doing great and blessing on you and your family,
Another great tutorial, my friend! This a bit advanced for me but it will surely push me into the next level of using barre chords. Very nice advice on the strum patterns as well. You do such a great job teaching all of these songs Dale! Thanks for sharing!!

This video has been a great one for me in that I finally understand the shapes and can follow along better with you in your explanation of the shapes and voicings. Of course as always your explanation of the song and how you are playing it is very good as well. In other words this has been one of those "aha" videos for me to watch. Thanks.

I hope you enjoy guitar more and more and the time moves ahead and consider me a resource if i can help in any way. Again thanks for your very kind post, your pickin friend,
