personally i think the original from the "Short Sharp Shocked" album is terrible, the verses are fast and almost like a punk track and it all suddenly slows down for the chorus and it feels out of place. I've yet to hear the Texas campfire tapes but i pray they're better than Short Sharp Shocked. Seeing Glen and Marketa play this live was just amazing
My heroes!!! Add me if they're your heroes too! Cheers!

Does anyone know where you could get the piano music for this?
emmsmadness 1 year ago
@emmsmadness The chords progression is a very simple Am-G-F-E for the entire song. Improvisation always sounds better on songs like this.
Jackiegoal 1 year ago
@emmsmadness nah its pretty much improv.

Saw Swell Season in Chi-town last night. Brilliant. Only thing that could make it better.....if Hot House Flowers toured with Swell Season !

Who wrote Fogtown?
thebenns 3 years ago
Michelle Shocked from Texas wrote Fogtown, it appears on her CD called "Texas Campfire Tapes" circa 1987. Great story behind that album.
