@Xozzen It doesn't matter how many steps you take. It doesn't matter how big or small a circle you walk, and it doesn't matter when or where you execute a change.
It may be helpful for training's sake to come up with number as a guideline to ensure that you're practicing both sides equally, but beyond that you're better off focusing on your structure and adherence to Ba Gua Zhang concepts in general than filling your mind with "I'm going to do this many steps then turn here."
the number of steps depends on the reason you are turning
