What I want to know is, why does Gremio show up in the end of the game, when the Soul Eater is used on Windy? I understand Ted, Teo, and Odessa, but I never got why Gremio is still there, since Tir never used the Soul Eater on him in the first place.

The Soul Eater manipulates souls around the wielder as sacrifices for more strength for its master, but it will only use those souls that resonate closest with the wielder's, I believe. Odessa believed in Tir's ability to lead the Liberation Army after her death. Gremio lived for his Young Master. Teo was proud of his son. And Ted was happy to have one good friend in a lifetime of loneliness.

He doesn't die, actually - it's what's called the 'canon' ending. I'm sure he dies of old age, though, unless the production team decides he is warranted some kind of true rune in a future game.
It's not an enduring statement if it isn't true. It's not a "secret" it's the actual history of the Suikoverse, "fool". I own every single game, so flaunting your "die-hard" status is pretty useless. Gremio dies and is revived. That is what happens. Stop tripping.

Me too...but when Aventuneiro theme started,I felt peace and joy in my heart!!! I enjoyed the end,but when I saw the game´s hero,leaving things well,in peace and then taking a road without benefit of power, I thought...this game is so wonderful!!!!What a powerful lesson of humanity,it is a pity that there´s not to this day a politician or leader with the fortitude of this video game character.:(
Fucck, this song is sorta chilling.
I find the endings like this and the one on Suikoden II to be sad moments.

As to why Gremio was inside the Soul Eater, I believe it is because Gremio gave everything for his master strength and soul at the end.
