There were rumours a while back that there was a Wii compilation of the Rogue Squadron games. Sadly, Factor 5 went down. Another sad thing, a Rogue compilation would look and play better than a good chunk of Wii games out there.

@gamemaster905 Its actually 2001. Released as a launch game. (those who got Gamecubes pretty much got this, Luigis Mansion, and Pikmin. There were just about 10 or so games at launch and the rest were pretty much crap)

Factor 5 developed this series. It's last project being "LAIR" for the PS3 before going bust. The bankruptcy caused LucasArts to lose a loan they handed Factor 5 for close to $7 million. Rogue Squadron 4 code was handed over supposedly from a deal that went south during the Jim Ward days. Not enough to make a game, enough to show case an engine though. An engine of LAIR+X-WING. LucasArts is suing Factor 5 owners for their money back. Factor 5 owners say - nope.

That would be awesome. I'm surprised, but esthetically, the graphics are still good by today's standard, especially if you also consider most wii games which look absolutely horrible.

All they'd really need to fix regarding the graphics to please me is some of the explosions, for example the generator in this level.

I've got em all...360, orig xbox, ps2, ps3, ps one, dreamcast...and I've gotta say...the little cube was unappreciated. That thing was capable of spitting out graphics on par with the original xbox. Resident Evil 4 was probably the most impressive at the time and it still kicks butt now!!

I agree, I only got a GameCube when it came out because I loved the N64 Rogue Squadron, the GC was even better, however if anyone remembers the third game "Rebel Strike" did not live up to the previous games. If LucasArts can believe Rogue Squadron has more beyond "Rebel STirke" than yes we could see a sequel on the Wii.
