  • Some awesome hairography from Gary too!!

  • Amazing - Gary Cherone should tour with Queen, not a whippersnapper like Adam Lambert!! Extreme's medley was INCREDIBLE at the Freddie Mercury Tribute too!!!!

  • @Tidzology no , mark martel should tour with queen , since he sounds almost identical to freddie

  • good lord, I forgot how awesome this was!

  • anyone noticed Brian is playing Red Special copy

  • @jozio1014 Yes, it is a Guild which was pre-Burns.

  • @jozio1014 Brian probably thought it had a higher chance of being stolen on that crazy night.

  • This aint VEVO. This is real!

  • Good singer

  • Cherone made a complete fool of himself as usual. Horrible stage presence.

  • holy shit tony iommi and brian may side by side!

  • Omg Gary literally humps Rogers bass drum! His moves are slightly OTT lol. But he sings this very well.

  • lol that singer is so funny :DD

  • check out my tom selleck tribute

    watch?v=cLKMxjiV1s8

  • Gary's dance moves are crazyy lol I laughed so hard :L great singing though

  • lol, dude's a nut.

  • is that guy gay? spent all the time singing bended down and flirting to John mmm...

  • The biggest rock bands of all ages giving tribute to the greatest one.

  • Why are there 2 guitarplayers on stage ???

  • @jonaslover670 One is Brian May, the guitarist for Queen. The other is Toni Iommi, he is a guest on stage, he's from Black Sabbath

  • This is the best concert ever even better than monterey

  • @DrFeelgood96100 Ican't deny it, it's one of the best's concert ever. But, I prefer Wembley's 1986 concert. Anyway, both concerts are unvaluable lessons of what is the music.

  • john moves like someone who is giving a blowjob

  • parabens pelos 20 anos de morte e tristeza para nos

  • My mum "What's your favourite band?"

    Me "Queen!"

"But they don't make music anymore"

"THEY STILL PLAY IN MY HEART!!" *run to listen to my mp3*

  • @MissKucabara actually, they're planning on releasing a brand new album sometime next year, as well as some tracks Freddie and Michael Jackson recorded.

  • Looking at this and then looking at the same video with freddie Mercury I can only say one thing. It's a job very well done. You can see they are really having fun. Two Thumbs up.

  • hoi

  • that guy is really strong looking

  • As cheesy and awkward as some of Gary's moves are.. he does sing this brilliantly. And Extremes set from the first half of this show was easily the best.. they totally nailed it.

  • @stonerh I agree - their medley was awesome.

  • Gary's hair is awesome!

  • in the first part john is a bit embarassed :D

  • thumbs up if u think they sould do another concert for freddie

  • 3:16 I would punch him and then continue playing this amazing solo <3

  • hahah oh man cherone is such an embarrassment. He sings the snog well but .. oh man, when he smacks Brian May upside the head...

  • @Banddroid song * :P

  • great song but i just have to say watching gary dance. it's the whole reason that van halen is now dead

  • OMG!!! <3

  • Gary Cherone... 20 year old... oh...

  • Happy Birthday, FREDDY MERCURY!!!!! 65 YEARS OLD! WOW

  • john deacon AKA mister cool, my hero

  • I love this cover the best, becuse he really showed love to that song and wow he had that silly danceing flow that you only can get when you like queens music

  • This is fucking amazing man, i love it. QUEEN ARE THE BEST

  • Oh man, I love Deacon. What a gentelman, and what a damn good bass player!

  • Many of the performers of that night were doing pretty good getting close to various aspects of God's... Excuse me - Freddie's abilities. But Gary Cherone topped them all - he is even more gay than the original...:)))

  • @MrZaricnak

I remember watching this live and some, but not all, of the singers that night gave some lousy performances. What your seeing on the DVD is the result of some very talented overdubs and editing.

  • lol, tom selleck playing the guitar

  • 1:01 John's like "Don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact....."

  • @TeoTorriatte9 hi hi

  • @TeoTorriatte9 hahaha! I came here to say that! John was like " Plz go away dude, i just wanna play my bass guitar and chill "

  • Love how John Deacon's like "Please get the fuck away, cheers."

  • @redroversk hi hi

  • 7 people are still waiting for the"Hammer to Fall"

  • Perfect!

  • At I saw the Video first time I thought it was Frank Zappa on the second guitar!

  • Hahahahaahahaha Gary's dancing looks pretty FUNNY!

  • Gary did a good job singing but his dancing was horrible!

  • @fallsnative Man, i dont think he can help it, im also go into insane dance mode to freddies songs.

  • eric carr died the same day :(

  • Gary looks drugged up...why is he wiggling his flat butt...and going up to Queen members shouting in their faces? Looks rude to me....

  • @andre312

is called feel the song...and having fun... If you look at everyone looking at him was a look of appreciation...nothing Rude...just being charged up from one of the BEST songs an epic artist like Freddie Mercury used to sing ;) and feel!

  • @Italyown

On second thought, I agreed with you..and Gary is doing well to honour Freddie... :)

  • To understand what the band thinks of the singers, take a look to the glances between John and Roger :D

  • I'm not that familiar with Extreme but Gary was on fire all night.

  • In response to my above comment the former Disney "Teen Queen" was born on the anniversary of Freddie's death

  • it jjust shivers down my spine when i see videos from the freddie mercury tribute concert... i would rip my arm off if i could travel back in time to see that concert live cuz i was born in 1988 :( queen was and still is the fuckin greatest band in the world

  • man all i can say is to me it was like he channeled a little bit of Freddies magic, like maybe he connected with him briefly on another plane of existance

  • @lukevertiis he had a small grin at 2:08. small, but there.

  • although Gary went through a disaster when he joined VH, he's an awesome singer!

  • haha this guy is sick FTW

  • jakiś pajac się próbował robić na Mercurego ale mu nie wyszło, muzyką rozj...li system..

  • @nieslonpatrick Kogo masz na myśli mówiąc pajac!!??

  • Gary Cherones= Power !

  • This was one of my favorite performances of the Tribute. Gary Cherone did an excellent job. He really got into the spirit of the song--a little Freddie inspiration there to be sure. Brian, Roger, & John were digging playing "Hammer to Fall" with him & Tony Iommi. And Tony & Brian were awesome together. I loved at the bridge when Tony looks over while Brian is doing these just wicked guitar licks. And then, you could see Brian digging Tony's lead. Amazing rhythm & lead interplay between the two.

  • Tony killed it. It's so beautiful to watch the videos of an event in which so many talented people get together to honor such an infinitely talented guy. I wish I was alive to be there.

  • Gary is so funny ! I think he's so excited to be up there with Brian, Roger, and John. I know that he has a great love for Queen and an amazing voice... I think he he did an excellent job

  • Tony Iommi!!!

  • lol, you've got to love gary in this.

If Freddie ever wiggled his arse lke that he'd of been too busy to sing.

Another forgotten clasic song from an ultimate concert.

  • Shake your Booty ?

  • 2:34

    What...is that...?

  • de todas las canciones de queen q mas asemejaban la voz de freddie, solo esta y la de george michael me gustaron y la voz era un poco semejante a la de freddie

  • main mans no there no

  • slash may and cherone together would make the coolest big-hair band

  • 7 ppl can kiss my ass and go kill themselves

  • Press 3 lol

    Great performance!!

  • I just adored this performance! Gary brought so much energy, and he has a great voice and presence. Everyone was just grinning so much, even John, who barely smiles during the whole concert!

  • Gary did a great job on this. I've developed a bit of a crush on him after watching this so much, lol

  • Yeah this guy was perhaps a little ostentatious, but that was a very decent vocal performance.

  • me es gracioso como mueve el culo gary jejeje pero buena interpretacion

  • @vladismael141088 DEMACIADO GRACIOSO PERO CABE DECIR QUE LO HACE MUY BIEN JAJJA

  • Freddie Mercury is gay but when he performs there is a certain level of masculinity in his movement but this guy sways and shakes his booty like a woman.

  • the guy shakes like a girl...

  • He ain't no Freddie Mercury, but damn does Gary Cherone have almost the same energy as him. Almost.

  • Gary the Great.

  • I never new Marty Friedman could sing and dance and where the hell was the rest of Megadeth.

  • @SouthTexasFilmUnit hahahahahaha xD

  • Now that was a fucking tribute!

  • 3:17: HANDS OFF, NOBODY'S ALLOWED TO TOUCH MY HAIR!!! :-D

  • he tries too had

  • freddie's body died in 1991... Queen spirit never die!!!

  • the sound is too low

  • never have i seen so much booty shaking from a dude

  • @didgeman987 I was thinking he must have been a pole dancer in another time of his career because he's working it way too much.

  • Meh...

  • Gary Cherone has SO much energy! I love it!

  • fantastic!

  • Wow, this guy rocks!!! Great performance! How come his name never came up when Bri & Rog were looking for someone to tour with? Talk about energy!

  • And his voice is so powerful!

  • I don't know who this guy is, but I liked so much his performance and his voice. And as he goes to John, Brian and Roger. Like saying to them, one by one: Thanks Queen!!!

  • @ReadyToReload The guy's name is Gary Cherone. :)

  • @SPeacock Thanks! I search his name in Wikipedia..... And i find him. And I remembered him and Extreme. Hell i'm getting too much older!!!

But I still love the great good things... like Queen music!

Slightly aged, slightly mad... Like all of us!

  • This was one of the best performances during this Tribute Concert.

  • What a tribute. Brian May and Toni Iommi...priceless!

  • @Haberzhish agree.

  • 0:56 - 1:01 lol

  • how amazing of a singer rodger taylor was to back up freddie

  • Gary Cherone & Roger Daltrey had the best performances of the night.

  • cherone probably was the best singer in that night ...

except Liza Minnelli and George Michael

  • @amykid92 roger daltrey did a GREAT job too ;)

  • Ill go ahead and sayit..Cherone dd pretty damn good given who he was replacing for the song...but I saw the sadness In Brian's eyes...must have been REALLY difficult to do this show in some ways...I hope before I die we see another wave of real artists surge out...the WORLD NEEDS THE FREDDY MERCURY'S OF THE WORLD NOW MORE THAN EVER

  • one hell of a song

    one hell of a performance

  • I bet George Michael and Elton John enjoyed watching Cherone ass shaking lol

  • @Haberzhish :))) almost fell out of my chair .. good one mate

  • @Haberzhish hahahaha

  • @Haberzhish I beat Freaddie enjoy as well in heaven ;)

  • ce se mai zbenguia asta, frate:))

  • Tony Iommi & Brian May = Guitar gods

  • cherone is just awesome

  • i love how gary dances its so funny

  • ken cherone kills it here just brilliant

  • why not gary cherone instead of paul rodgers? gary cherone acts to much like a woman so why not George Michael?

  • Is John crying on 1:05?

  • its the hair bear bunch :)

  • He kicked ass on this song and another one bites the dust

  • gary was the best in that tribute!!!

but I miss freddy on It lol

    viva queen!!!

  • And just so you know Paul will always be a better choice than Adam Lambert! Just because he is gay doesn't mean he will be as good as Freddie. Those days after American idol ended in 2009, I was scared shit cuz I thought Queen was goign to be ruined by an emo faggot

  • You all are dumb Gary is a great frontman, he is his own version of Freddie. He is very energetic just like Freddie but with his own mannerisms, and Paul Rodgers was great, his voice is amazing I've always like that blues music, and if you put that with Queen it's great. The 2008 album was great, people just don't know how to look at things positively

  • Anthony Kiedis with a perm

  • Gary did a great job here... and the band as well ofc..

  • Gary Snottie....

  • fukin hate han halen but sabbath destroy with deo or ozzy

  • John Deacon looks like grandfather

  • Gary Cherone kinda reminds me of Anthony Kiedis here.

  • much better than paul rogers

  • Cherone's pelvic thrusts are exemplary as is his voice. He is still super lame in spite of these talents.

  • he sings this SO well

but must he get up in their faces?

    talk about irritating

  • @disenchanted009 That was part of his tribute to Freddie if you couldn't tell.

  • I would have loved to see a tour with Gary. He really gets shit on because the VH thing didnt work like a lot of people wanted it to (although I think VH3 is a much better album than a most people give it credit for being). I like Paul Rodgers and i think he did an OK job, but just didnt have the energy Gary would have brought to it.

  • Gary could have been a bit more reserved....thats why Deacon ignores the idiot...no class

  • I think Tony provided Brian with support during this show..Gary I think wanted the front man gig....

  • @flippyflyer yea, Tony was one of the 'unsung' heroes of the concert.

  • Queen has died on 24.11.1991

  • @or756

I don't thik so!!! queen + PR was crap /pl was crap/ but listen new roger songs and brian songs they are perfect!!! unblinkin' eye from roger is just so cool !!!

  • @or756 Good music died on 24.11.1991

  • @or756 Nearly one year later from that day another tragedy took place. ... Miley Cyrus was born.

  • @Paul8820 and what the fuck does that have to do with anything. Pollution kills

  • @Paul8820 Dude Miley Cryus was just another Brittney Spears already in the "Where is she now, but who the fuck cares category?" If the NFL fucks up again she might reaper in about ten years to fuck up the national anthem at the Super Bowl just like Christina Agulara (what the fuck where they thinking.)

  • @or756 Wrong. Queen will li
