But his groove is the "signaturest" ;) of all and his licks and fills the most creative ones I've ever heard.

Maybe Gergo Borlai is able to compete with him when the topic is "signature fills". But I'm not sure.

He has a different musical approach than most drummers doesn't he? I find his playing to be so creative when compared to many, if not most, drummers. His grooves are solid, deep, original and surprising. I never know exactly where he's headed. If I could choose to be the clone of any drummer, it would be THE GREB.

He's right there with Gadd when it comes to groove. When he gets good down in it, I want him to just play it for a good five minutes straight buuut they Always only sit in it for about 30 seconds. Or just staying in a nice melodic groove using the toms. Less changing it up in a solo so I can just fuckin groove man. But I do think he is a little under par with double bass speed and usage. He could really diversify his act a lot more with well placed double action.
