Yes, everyone has a worldview, but there are some that are supported by evidence and some that are not. Some of the latter even contradict evidence.

When there are literal piles of evidence - fossils, genetic, morphological, take your pick - evolution falls in the first category.

When a story that claims the universe is younger than there is archaelogical evidence - never mind radiometric dating - it falls in the last.

Agreed. What boggles my mind is that a complete lack of evidence doesn't bother them whatsoever. How can one so easily shut off that rational area of their brain. I mean, they honestly believe some guy with long hair floats around on the clouds and helps people not get voted off American Idol!
