I remember how the trainer said "Kill" and the dog jumped on Columbo and pinned him down to the ground, but the "Kill" word was actually the "Kiss" command and the dog just licked him, but Columbo was scared as hell first; amazing episode

Absolutely fabulous movie...Peter Falk is a great match to the legendary Peter Sellers in the movie, while Peter Sellers act as the Charlie Chan based character Peter Falk plays both Sam Spade and Richard Diamond based characters, as Sam Diamond! Hilarious, other actors too including James Coco's Hercule Poirot based character. Stil, in Peter Falk's character there was some Columbo touch, I primarily watched the movie because of Peter Falk's character.. thanks for reminding us the great movie :)

I am watching the Ninth season of Columbo, it has some great stories..There is one episode called Rest in Peace Mrs. Columbo, I think inspired from the Sherlock Holmes classic "The Dying Detective."

The early 70's Columbo episodes are the best!!!! But you have to watch the show from the beginning to understand the murder plot always performed by rich & powerfull people, but Columbo will always get them with a small little clue or detail!

I wouldn't say rich and powerful only, he goes after criminals, some of them are in a real financial crisis! But yes, Columbo has an eye for irregularities. Thanks for the comment :)
