@billyhope02 Are you sure? The website looks the same as it was in July of 2010, and bad reports still exist on Cnet and MyWOT. Only sketchy sources seem to honor RegGenie.
Instead of deleting files, try downloading and installing Malwarebytes!
Malwarebytes is a hit!...it can detect and wipe out EVERYTHING that another antivirus can't detect. Watch SuperMitch1995's version of this video for more information.
NOTE: It doesn't have limited trials, but its STILL a trial (a permanent one.) If you don't want any trials, get Avast.
@imseanyoung After the vdideo... I did use Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to terminate the program. It wasn't recorded because the procedures are straightforward, and I even linked the viewers to a download of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware in the description.
@imseanyoung Fantastic observation. I was using the "Classic View" option for the personalization of the desktop. My preference is the Windows 2000 design because it's simplistically classic! :D
@warnightify You will need WinRAR, the file that opens .rar files. After that, you will need a program that can dispel audio from a .xm file, and these can be found simply by searching ".xm converter player" on Google. Next, after one dispels the audio from the .xm file . . . It is converted to a .wav. ADDITONAL: TheSanguineOne uses the DVDVideoSoft Audio Converter to convert .wav files to .mp3 . . . But that is my method. I hopes this helps!! {=
And by the way, no one should ever trust how "good" a program looks. It is very simple to give it to a designer to spruce it up to make it look official.
@TheSanguineOne true true... i dont think i mean trust it by the good it looks. i mean if it scans fast and finds 100dreds of errors! one fake antivirus i caut was spyware protection.there a rouge antivirus...
this is 100% safe if you dont trust me download it on your VM lol this program is great but you need to register it well its easy to find a serial on internet. And if you instaled and you think it sucks(it dont)you can unninstall it...ITS NOT ROGUE!!!!!!
@TheSanguineOne ok you dont need to trust me lol but if you think that it is rouge test it on your virtual machine and you will see that this is 100% safe but you need to buy (i didnt buy it i just downloaded serial :) if you want i will put serial in youtube just ask if someone need one
@SNAKECroatia If you watched my entire video, you would have seen that at 1:53 there was a working serial that I used for the program. After repairing all the registry errors, RegGenie spotted many more and seemed to skip over many -- never fixing any of them. In addition, I also had CCleaner on my computer and eviscerated the registry errors for the system, and RegGenie did not work whatsoever.
@SNAKECroatia If your anti-malware product did not locate any errors, then I suggest visiting VirusTotal(dot).com. Yes, I know the name sounds intimidating, but it is a site, where 42 of the most legitimate antiviruses are compiled into one on-line host that can scan file C>Program Files>RegGenie>RegGenie.exe. Once the main file is scanned, you should be presented with a report of a malicous program.
Please do this and tell me if you have any remaining questions about the legitimacy of it.
@markrobinson993 Uuuuuuhhh . . . Have you watched this video in great detail?
Obviously, RegGenie is untrustworthy and a scam, so I recommend removing it from your computer with Malwarebytes' Anit-Malware [in Safe Mode] and install CCleaner, a free, reputable registry cleaner from Piriform.
By the way, I have searched through the registry changes of RegGenie, after I released this video, and I discovered that RegGenie did not repair the registry at all. It's a scam, dude.
RegGenie is with my experiences not a virus. My computer has never been this fast, even when I bought expensive antivirus subscriptions. So I genuinely think that this program has helped my PC recover, and it is now as fast as when I bought it.
RegGenie is a virus when i barly opened The installer my firewall imeidatlly blocked a worm intrusion from the internet by barly opening the installer and i tried it again and again and its the installer that gives u a worm stay away unless u want ur pc in the garbage
i couldn't delete the folder of this garbage RegGenie, i wish i saw your video earlier..before i installed this fake reg cleaner. gotta find the way to delete it!
@Successfulmelchforev If Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is ineffective, I recommend running a System Restore. In order to do this, open the program (Start menu > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore).
Choose a time before you downloading the program and restore to that point.
IMPORTANT: Any programs that you downloaded when you had RegGenie will also be removed from the computer.
I intercepted another trojan (back-door virus) last week, and this method worked for me! :D
i just downloaded 'Advanced system care free'-it scanned it and "removed the invalid entries etc."-i also scanned this program and nothing appeared.-do you think advanced system care is also a fake?
@euyfdvfhj Advanced System Care Free sounds legitimate because of the positive reviews on Cnet and Download(dot).com. Personally, I would trust it. [=
RegGenie can scan the registry and locate empty registry keys; however, the program launches spyware onto computers and endangers the user's security.
I thought that I would make this video because there was one YouTube user, who was releasing videos, which glorified RegGenie, RegCure, and other rogues, in an attempt to mislead the community into downloading malicious software.
reg genie is real reg cleaner now. it used to be fake

First, we must understand that the software is not trusted in the community.
Proof: mywot(dot)com/en/scorecard/reggenie.com
Furthermore, RegGenie, FrontLine, and other rogues have been detected by Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and nearly 20 other anti-malware programs.
Try downloading, installing, and running CCleaner and see if I is more efficient. ;)

so many rogue registry cleaners on the net although this is not the worst rogue there is
TheBuckbull 1 year ago
@TheBuckbull You are right about that.
RegGenie is, however, a back-door trojan, which has the ability to send information to other networks, like spyware.
If the creators of the software intend on adding more malicious features, then the program may become even more hazardous to run on computers.
