@2Taylr2 I think you shuldn't go telling people to get the facts right when you yourself don't have them right. Eponine wasn't killed from a shot to the head, that would have made imposible the song you are talg about. Maybe you saw a version like that but in theory it is a shot to her stomach so she dies slowly in Marius' arms. If you wanted to corect you should have done what you said and check it before.

Someone I know was in this situation. I know the original French version and at one point it goes 'Oui je l'aime, mais je suis seule au monde' (Yes, I love him, but I'm alone in the world) and I used to say to people that this woman's situation was 'Oui, je l'aime, mais je suis LA seule au monde' (I love him, but I'm the only one in the world who does) XDDD

@AnikaLovesYou2 Actually, it's "Nowhere to TURN, no-one to go to..." And it's not that big a deal. Any Les Mis/Eponine fan can recite that. :\ It's the recitative, so it's not really vital that it's in the recording. It needs to be in the show as a link, but as a standalone song you don't need to have it. Just sayin'. :)

I've never seen Les Mis, I've only read the book, and it's interesting to see based on the comments that Eponine sings this song. That's interesting because Eponine was a fairly minor character in the book. She was given enough development for the reader to think, "Oh, how sad," but then our focus automatically shifts back to the powerful relationship between Cosette and Marius. This song brings Eponine's feelings forward to steal the show for a moment, so unlike the book.

This isn't a backing track. I believe this is taken from an orchestral musical suite CD. It's an OK track to sing along to, I guess, but the drums are too pop and the trumpets sound cheesy, LOL.
