  • great. thanks.

  • Rembrandt lighting is only good on Europeans because they have a broad face. Where the light hitting the eyes creating shadows across their face making it more stand out. But not good on asian faces because they have a flatter broad characteristics, so making a rembrandt light for them is a lot harder :/

  • I noticed that Rembrandt lighting appeals to men than women.

  • Thank you for this simple yet effective video. I show it for my art students

    Cheers

  • Thank you so much. Much appreciated :)

  • Not fair! You said you could achieve this lighting with a single light and a reflector, then you went and used three lights you big cheat! You should be demonstrating how it can be achieved with the single light, as was mentioned a couple of times. If you do this maybe I'll send you a Welsh cake haha. I'm Welsh, by the way.

  • Thanks fools

  • My preference would be to watch a proper model sit there and clearly demo what you wanted to explain but I think you were going for the light hearted humour thing....I think. Your model was just too distracting and uninterested...which put me off a little. But back to the point...

Excellent video with clear explanation and a little history chucked in too. Deffo a high rating just for the educational content. Many thanks :)

  • this is so useful

  • Glad it helps.
