i think its and awesome and all, but the craziest part is how it sounds nothing like a harp for the most part. if i heard just the audio, i would have said banjo or even a type of acoustic guitar.

I'll bet you there are quite a few other Paraguayan harpists that can, or could if they'd mastered the sharping levers (which are still rare on Paraguayan harps). The techniques used are all pretty standard - that's how GOOD those harpists are. That style of harp is their national instrument.
