@GusLaFosse I think more than physically giving him eyes, he's asking Jesus to allow him to see things the way Jesus would see them. To see the broken and lonely so that he may reach out to them. @Tori2017 There are people who respect people's decision on whether they love God or not and those who are torn between needing proof and such. I'm agnostic. I like christian songs because of their up lifting lyrics and nearly lullaby melodies. I respect if you love God but telling people who don't believe in him to believe in him is like saying if you don't believe in him then you go to hell or so in my mind. No one has the right to judge anyone else unless they are ready to be judged also. She’s struggled learning 2 walk & w/ many other things but we’re not here 2 complain. Her dream is 2 help kids W/ problems like hers. She truly is & wants 2 raise the $ 2 do this thru music. have you ever noticed that when you get to the point were you live your life without praying, or thinking godly, or just liveing your live the way you want, your sooo unhappy, yet when you try to rid yourself of yourself, and try to live this life for god(which is sooooooooo hard to do) you are 10 times more happy then liveing this life the way you wanted to. it's just food for thought, because to me, thats ironic. "Give Me Your Eyes"? Really? This is one of the dumbest songs I've ever heard. Is he really asking someone unknown, unspecified object of the song to share vital organs with him? As though that would make his life better? As though vision leads to "love for humanity"? So, does he believe love is based on shallow things like vision? As if something/someone must be beautiful to be loved? How shallow :-(

@GusLaFosse I think more than physically giving him eyes, he's asking Jesus to allow him to see things the way Jesus would see them. To see the broken and lonely so that he may reach out to them. If we all looked at the world through the eyes of Jesus, maybe, just maybe, we would treat people better.. I hope this kinda clears the song up a bit for you, my friend.

@Tori2017 There are people who respect people's decision on whether they love God or not and those who are torn between needing proof and such. I'm agnostic. I like christian songs because of their up lifting lyrics and nearly lullaby melodies. I respect if you love God but telling people who don't believe in him to believe in him is like saying if you don't believe in him then you go to hell or so in my mind. Respect each person's decision. Song is pretty though and can relate to much

I deal with people who have mental issues and many tell the story of how they faced some sort of bullying in their life.We live in a world where people tear others down readily not knowing they are causing others pain and illness. No one has the right to judge anyone else unless they are ready to be judged also. The answer to many of our problems in society is learning to forgive others and show them kindness and love,not hate. Again thanks for sharing .

God opened my eyes this past year at my school. He opened them to the lonely people around me. When I started seeing all of these people I had never noticed before, I started to sit with them during lunch. So now when I walk into the cafeteria at my school, instead of looking for ym friends, my eyes wander to the people who are sitting all alone. It is the beginning of a chain reaction and I am praying that God uses me to open others eyes and help them see the lonely hearts around them. :)

I'm a professional woman working in downtown Dallas, Texas, and see so many broken-hearted children of God.
