  • No offence to you, but every time I watch your video's, all I can see is this insecure person, I don't know why, but it aura is around you, but that makes your awesome, you need to make more of these my kind man!

  • dude you are KING, absolutely loved it

  • Dude it sounds like someones humming it

  • Goosebumps.

  • Great :DDD

  • I love this mostly because I love halo but what u did nice

  • Could anyone tell me if this isntrument requires an amp, or can it make some noise just by being plugged in?

  • @megaclone18 requires an amp

  • @conquerearth like a guitar amp

  • i love it.....wwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa DX

  • sounds like a forced out fart

  • I need your help dude. I just got my theremin for Christmas, and I could use some help if possible. Does it make any difference if it is played on a table or something other than a mic stand?

  • @IPWNALLsometimes if its on a table, you'll need to make sure there are no objects on the table that would be within the field of the pitch antenna, and you'll need to make sure the volume loop is protruding over the edge of the table, otherwise it will always be muted. A mic stand is better, generally.

  • Gives me the chills =) freaking sweet .. microsoft would make a great deal having you making the songs

  • Sweet vids.. Don't worry about the pitch haters... Not an easy to pitch instrument at all.. You're pretty close and for the most part dead on.. What does an instrument like that go for?

  • Geek!

  • Wow, u got some skill, it's incredibly hard to even get close to mastering the theremin, well done!

  • Get a life.

  • love it

  • where could i get one of these instruments

  • Danggg... I cant wait to get a theremin kit for my only christmas present noww!

  • I've whatched a few videos now and have discovered that the theremin is a very simple concept. i takes practice i can tell though!

  • Looks like a russian guy from 1928 got the motion sensor thing down better than nintendo. o:

  • it sounds as a lady is singing it

  • this song rocks.

    And You rock too.

  • Nice work

  • dude ur amazing

  • That is epic man how long did it take you to learn how to play on the theremin

  • @ZShadowHunter this was recorded after approx 5 months of owning one. I had been practicing for approx 2 hours a week

  • @conquerearth Hi this Is Geovarius , theremin player from France, i juste watched your vids nice job i also make covers of any kind of stuff also, i own a gakken and a moog theremin, and i think you're on the right way, i began last year playing the Gakken Premium and this year with the Moog, this is quite hard to get the perfect pitch and expression.

  • Thats sad music i almost cry.

  • wtf is this ?

  • @chermo119 THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow. Great use of dynamics! You made that theremin sound beautiful (which doesn't happen very often)!

  • I want to buy a theremin :( Do you know, how much it costs and where i can buy it

(i live in germany) :D Your work with the Theremin is great! I Subscribe you! :D

  • It's great ! Hum, I think muteness persons could play it well and enjoy it. Because it sounds like a human voice.

  • it kind of sounds like wolf link from loz tp

  • Do you hiccup at 0:52?

  • This is so fantastic. I have been watching your other videos and I am now saving up for one of these babies. I know it will be extremely difficult to learn. But it is worth it.

  • Holy Crap that thing can play anything

  • Id love a theramin.......

  • so good keep it going

  • Unbelievable skills. Keep it up!

  • @fatman159 LATULAKALAKATALUALKALAUKAALAJAFALAKALAKAKL fuck you

Great job, Conquerearth, so you hold nothing and your hand just controls it?

  • wow, man, this is moving.... since i found about this theremin... now about 10 or 15 minutes ago, i'm so fascinated with it.

  • @Bassics85 hahaha same here! just found out 10 mins ago

    its awsome :D

  • man, i want to learn to play a theremin!

  • If ever there was a game that epitomizes marketing power over game play its Halo.

  • good vid thoo

  • wats ur gamertag

  • sounds like destroy all humans cool..

  • Idk why but I feel like I might cry a little to this, it's beautiful

  • great videos man

  • ok well it was good and im guessing that is pretty hard... but most of the time the pitch was like a 1/6 step sharp... driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!

other than that, good job... :)

  • @mtcorn97 you must have a very good ear! I think I might have been overcompensating, when I was practicing I tended to sound flat, which sounded horrible. Hopefully in my newer videos I've trained my ear better. Thanks for saying, though!

  • @mtcorn97 Yeah your right about that, sharp but otherwise good.

  • @mtcorn97

i also hear the sharpness...but i have never seen anything like this. very interesting, good job

  • @mtcorn97 and flat sometimes tooo. but all better with practice!!

  • Never played halo 3, but this sounds like a last stand scene with the sound removed except for this music.

    The instrument fits the song

  • you've never played it, but you know what the last stand scene is?

    suspicious...

  • I don'y know the game but i know how music works

  • *throws underwear* XD

  • i might order a thermin, any tips?

  • Experimenting with it. Understand your instrument. That's basically it. Look at the movements he does in this video, and you should understand the basics.

  • Absolutely love this! I could listen for hours.

  • Hey this is awesome. Keep it up!

  • You should play "The Siege of Madrigal"!

    awesome job.

For the people who don't know what a theremin is, it is an instrument invented in Russia in the 1920s by a guy named Leon Theremin. When you play it, one of your hands is controlling pitch while the other does volume and separation of notes/attack.

  • dude ever heard of a theremin look it up on wikipedia and stuff its real

  • google the theremin before you try and make accusations it is a very old instrument

you control the theremin with by the magnetic field you it emits round the prongs on the side and top of it which controls the pitch

  • apparently you dont know what a fucking theremin is

  • no hes not jackass, look up what a freaking theremin is

  • No, he's playing a theramin. Look it up on Wikipedia.

  • hes not humming

  • ur right

  • 0.0...my god man..your awesome...keep on amazing all of us

  • lol what the hell was that

  • its not the original halo theme but rocks anyway^^

  • if you take requests i want you to play the original mortal kombat theme song. it is probably hard but i know you can do it, especially with the worlds hardest to learn instrument!

  • cool

  • Wonderful mate! I actually just ordered a a theremin last week, and I'm getting it soon. Too bad I won't be as good as you xD

  • Good for you. I know you'll enjoy it.

  • i love'd Your VErsion of Love from FFIV and this is simply amazing!

  • I think i have just seen the face of god... :O

  • @oni619 If you had, you wouldn't be alive to make that comment

@conquerearth Well done! Halo is on the list of my favourite video game music. I'm surprised you didn't play along with the piano at 0:58. It seems like you should've been able to.

  • @oni619 Honestly? His facial expression totally reminds me of Sheldon Cooper from BBT

  • Theremin=Win

  • Hey dude, your skill is absolutely phenomenal! It isn't the first time I hear a theremin, but you're the one who convinced me of buying one, thanks!

  • Then my job here is done :)

  • Yes, time to break out my theremin again and keep the dust off it this time. Thanks for reminding me of how amazing of an instrument it is and how much I missed hearing it. Awesome job, by the way.

  • Simply Amazing. Keep Up The Good Work.

  • Wow, that's freaky! I've heard of a moog but in my ignorance did not know that's how it's played. Very cool indeed!

  • This is a theremin.

What you're thinking of is a Moog synthesizer. Completely different.

  • This is just the most incredible thing and I am completely mesmerized and fascinated with the whole thing! Thanks so much for posting and this is an incredible talent you people have! I am very impressed!!

  • its not a Moog its a first Electric Instrument ever made and its called a Theremin

  • what do you mean favorite? i thought the halo 3 music was awful, the halo 1 music was amazing though

  • dude u make some awsome videos wit ur theremin. keep up the god work man.

  • If you don't mind me ask, what are you doing? Like what is a Theremin?

  • check wikipedia!

  • you are very very good. Keep up the excellent work. How much practice did it take to master the theremin?

  • I've far from mastered it. I've be been playing for almost 6 months now, on and off. This was recorded in month 4.

  • How do you get that sweet mellow tone? Whenever I play mine it's always raspy.

  • I got that sound just by messing around with the waveform and brightness controls. I then added a little reverb to the recording. Thats all.

  • ahah xD 5/5

  • After listening to the song on its own, I actually really like what your playing adds to it. I love the depth it adds to the song, especially when backing up the long strings. If there's any way to get an mp3 recording of this, that'd be amazing. I'd love to see future orchestral pieces.

  • search on google youtube to mp3 and click the top one

  • Well sure one could rip it, but it would be even better to have one at as good a bit rate as the author might have on their machine.

  • well done man really cool you should do the mjlonar remix the one with the guitar in lmao well done got yourself 5 stars lol

  • The theremin is got to be the coolest instruments ever. It is cool how it works too. Great Job!

  • Great job, solid production. You got a new fan.

  • Would I be right in saying that you didn't leave your flat much during the Christmas period? =p

  • Wow, how did you guess!
