  • Hi, I bought your book today and then found this lovely video tonight. Both are lovely. Thanks for sharing so nicely.

  • That depends on the consistancy of the paints. If you diulite the paints with water than the water will not stay separate and will blend together and make a new color. If you use them straight from the tube then you may be able to do it. The cake type of watercolor will not work.

The same principal applys to making petals by pushing and pulling your strokes no matter what type of paints you use. Hope this helps.

  • Do you think, this could work with Watercolors ?

  • nice job i like it honeyyy.

  • can you please show how to load the brush?

  • I have been painting Donna Dewberry style for yrs. Its getting cooler weather time to paint. xoxoox

  • Yes, I am using acrylic paints, I don't think you can do this with oil paints, as they are too thick to do this.

  • You're using acrylic paint right? Would you be able to do this using oil paints?

  • what kind of paper do you use? it wouldn't work on a canvas?

    This is amazing!!!

  • @YoureBeautiful3

This demo is painted on watercolor paper. You should be able to paint this on canvas if the canvas has been sealed or gessoed. I have painted many times on canvas. Good luck to you and thank you for the nice compliment.
