you guys keep noticing that he has the distortion on the whole time and then turns up the volume knob when he is ready for distortion. if you watch zakk wylde do it, he actually has a distortion switch seated in his tone switch and switches back and forth for a quick basic distortion. this guy probably has seen him do that and thought he was using the volume knob to turn the distortion volume up. but it is a great observation guys. btw i know this because i also have a guitar like zakks.
