  • you make my head hurt with your stupidity

  • "Random rhinoceros" dunno why but that made me lol

  • He has no clue what he is talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • biased, you wouldn't come to this conclusion if you didn't believe he exists, and the second exaple is actuall is that the earth JUST ENDED UP THERE.

  • @doombybbr and it took many years for our atmosphere to form into a ok-for-respiration place(it wasn't oxygen using life forms in the start, this was back when earth was a volcanic planet.)

  • Does it really matter if a God exists or not? There is no harm in believing in a God as well as there is no harm in not believing in a God. If it makes you feel good to believe in a God then believe and practice your faith but stop ridiculing those who don't believe. If it makes you feel good to not believe in a God then don't believe but stop ridiculing others who believe.

  • @9876543210goodbye There is some harm in believing in a god though, or at least in all the other religious beliefs that go with it.

  • I'm glad you are pointing out the fallacies of most Christians, but when will people (all religions included) learn to accept people no matter what they believe? Who cares if someone is "wrong" in their belief? Does it really affect you?

  • @VeritatemQuaerens 9/11 affected us all I believe. stupid quarries over religion -.-

  • @schootingstarr So by forcing people to stop believing what they want you are making them happier? I'm sorry but you're starting to sound like Rousseau and Robespierre

  • @VeritatemQuaerens I ain't saying that ppl should stop belieing in whatever they believe in, but the moment someone acts against something, out of religious belief, it is affecting all of us

you believe allah is the only god? fine, but don't press that shit on me

you believe that creationism is real? fine, but don't demand that to be taught in school

and on a different note: I am not interested in french revolution, so I don't know what those 2 were up to

  • This was completely unbiased.....

  • If he gave us all that "cool refreshing" water, how come only 10% of it won't kill us?

  • This says "God" created water and holes in the earth for animals, however these were already present and animals just used and adapted to the available resources around them. It didn't just create all that shit just for those animals.

  • @playwithfire224 This is satire, he wants Christians to re-think their stories, maybe accept science one day.

  • we once sent a spaceship into space(no shit) with a telescope on it and uncovered 5 planets that were the same distance from the sun as the earth. that ship probably saw less than a tiny fraction of 1% of the universe(i don't have the values but if u really want to know just look it up). it would make it likely that there are other planets that have water and oxygen. am i rite?

  • I just wasted 5 minutes of my time. I don't know why. Either it's because I'm a stupid bored guy at work, or He wanted me to watch this video because it will have some yet unseen effect on my life. To me, the answer (to my boss) is pretty obvious!

  • The universe is not here in order to bring rise to human beings; human beings are here because this section of the universe just happens to be hospitable to human life.

If the universe were not hospitable for life, there would be no life to question why the universe was hospitable for life.

Looking at the mystery of why there is something rather than nothing and filling in the blank with 'God' is much less intellectually honest than 'I don't know'.

  • @TheGeneralCritic What you just said is called the "Anthropic Principle". You're absolutely right.

  • @LastBitofCommonSense Yeah, I realized that a long time after I posted it.

Also, I've come to a realization that we do have a designer, just not the one the Intelligent Design crowd has in mind: our designer is our surrounding environment.

When we look around, we see creatures almost perfectly designed for their surroundings. This is because, by necessity, the creatures we find thriving in a certain environment were molded BY the environment, allowing them to thrive.

  • Random Rhinoceros?

  • One point he should have made to make his argument more solid. The percentage of sodium in the human body is the same percentage in the ocean. He should ave used the example of snakes, and lambs to give more support to his take on the lard's involvement in creation.

  • Well,,he is spot on with this video. (I said this one NOT ALL OF THE ONES HE HAS aired on YT) I know a lot about sicense

  • i do think everything is random and the human race is just a big lucky bastard.

  • Nitrogen wasn't put hear to test our faith. God created something called the Nitrogen Cycle, which is an integral part of all life on Earth. Ring a bell?

  • HA HA HA HA what a scientific view OR..... I believe in God mate. this nob is making God a scientific discovery, Is this person telling us anything relevant ...... as the man says "I think the answer is pretty obvious"..... Crap i wasted 5 minutes of my god given life to watch and comment on this. ( there is a lesson to be learnt here lol)

  • @Brazil007able The lesson is that satirical comedy isn't for everybody. :)

  • LOL this troll is an idiot. the idea the God created it all, makes more sense. and hes just proving that!!

  • @JacksonTardisFilms Your joking right? Any one who beleives in god has is either an idiot orhasnt thought things through

  • This is really good - funny, and depressingly accurate. Typical arse-backwards athropocentrism/athropic principle.

"Or did life arise IN RESPONSE to the environment, with no intentional plan."

    Yes, that one.

"To approach these questions in a rational, unbiased manner, let's look what at god created in the first place."

I thought my brain was going to blue-screen... then I saw EdwardCurrent. Well played, sir :D.

  • dam i cant wait for this troll to get hit by a car then he will see if there is a god or not hehe ^^

  • @halorechfan

obviously to every thinking person there is none.

  • @halorechfan there is god :D just not any god relating to human religion no heaven nor hell. trolololol

  • someday, we're gonna send a drill probe to europa, get to the liquid ocean under the ice, and bring back bacteria. there, bitch, a fucking moon has life too. did god do that?

    nope.

  • @cavemantiger Someday, you're going to realize Edward Current is a poe and you're gonna feel like an ass ;-).

  • @Ammdar someday, you're gonna realize your reply is completely unrelated to my comment, and everyone will look at you and think "what is that fucktard doing?" :)

  • @cavemantiger @Ammdar Someday, you'll both learn politeness and civility.

  • @resoprint someday, you'll learn to shut the fuck up and leave the trolls to their work. :)

  • @cavemantiger You got me there :s

  • Let me guess...you atheists will be celebrating the birthday of Jesus Christ on Decemebr 25th this year? xD xD xD Merry CHRISTmas atheists!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!! xD xD xD xD xD

  • @BlongBlarble Christmas is like make believe for us, just because we don't believe in your god doesn't mean we can't still have a nice holiday. It's like Halloween was based on witches and monsters. Or Easter. Christmas is just a wannabe Thanksgiving in terms of accurate history.

  • @DiablosAguacate Well, you can sugar coat it all you'd like if it helps you sleep better. The bottom line is that you and your family will be gathering around the CHRISTmas tree on Jesus Christ's Birthday. And I'm glad you will, as I believe everybody SHOULD celebrate the birthday of Christ. So, with that said, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family my friend! xD xD xD

  • @BlongBlarble happy xmas

  • @BlongBlarble I hate to burst your bubble, but Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. It's not quite clear when he was born, but according to certain verses in the Bible, it must have been in the warmer months. The church picked December 25th because many (and I do mean MANY) pagan celebrations were on that same day. Also, many modern Christmas traditions, like mistletoe, Christmas trees, and giving gifts, originated in these pagan holidays. So, with that said, happy Saturnalia to you my friend!

  • @ershantik18006 You are not busting my Christian bubble. I am well aware of the pagan celebrations and traditions, and the fact that church picked these days. That does not take anything away from our faith. Dates are only important to pagans. I celebrate Christ daily.

  • @TheJmiller011 I wasn't trying to burst your bubble. Only BlongBlarble's, who was mocking atheists for celebrating Christmas. Quite rudely, I might add.

  • @BlongBlarble "I believe everybody SHOULD celebrate the birthday of Christ." Well you can think that is what most people are celebrating but there are a lot who are not. I'm celebrating the solstice and enjoy giving gifts to friends and family and having a good meal, In the spirit of the season it is wonderful to see people being good to one another. It happens to have come from a religious background, but you don't have to believe in the mythology to be able to enjoy it and be thankful.

  • @BlongBlarble And you can sugarcoat the believe of reality in which an ancient book speaks for the truth off all the people in the world over something that's curing smallpox, cancer, the list is just TOO big.

If I celebrated Hanukkah with a friend that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with my personal beliefs. Thanksgiving is a day to get together, I hate the history behind the Native's losing their land...You take it much too literally, but whatever makes you feel better and reassured.

  • @BlongBlarble You seriously don't know that the Christmas celebration was first a pegan holiday? Dec 22nd the sun reaches its lowest point in the sky, three days later it starts to rise again, hence why we say the sun/son has risen on the third day.

Horus, Mithra, Attis, Krishna, Dionysus; all had virgin births on Dec25, death was followed by a resurection on the 3rd day, long before Jesus.

Don't just blindly deny this, do the research and find out for yourself if they are true or not.

  • i am not want to critique and just have some question that wants to be answered

  • @MegaDimon1991

"...why we exist?why the life started on earth ?" Because we can. Because it could.

"what is the point of life"

    To make more life.

why humans are the only intelligent species..."

    Define "intelligent".

"why monkeys... have 48 chromosome but we only have 46"

    Horses have 64. So what?

"why cro magnum and neandertal had bigger brain than ours and still we are the evolved one ?"

All living organisms are evolved. Read a book.

  • @macaroo388 can you suggest a good one i like to know more than i know please leave a suggestion.

  • @MegaDimon1991

Start with How Evolution Works by Marshall Brain at the HowStuffWorks website. I'm not being intentionally insulting, but most books on evolutionary biology are meant for people with at least a basic grounding in life sciences at the high school level. From your questions, it seems as if you're not there yet.

  • @macaroo388 i finished high school but our educational system sucks.; )

  • @MegaDimon1991

Well, start there. It'll at least give you a boost. :-)

  • yeah it is pretty obvious you are a racist. I have a question to all atheist and none tell me why we exist?why the life started on earth ? what is the point of life why humans are the only intelligent species even though other animals had the same time to evolve from other species ?why monkeys and other like it have 48 chromosome but we only have 46 i thought about evolution not devolution?why cro magnum and neandertal had bigger brain than ours and still we are the evolved one ?

  • lol

    nicely done

  • Stupid video.

It is obvious - the universe is favourable and indeed stacked towards the formation of stars, planets and life.

This video is Eds usual straw man argument against hardcore religou fundamentalists.

Question for the openminded amongst you - yoohoo anyone there [huge echo then silence]

Why are the laws of the universe tso fine tuned - any slight change and you get an extreme universe with very little features, forget about features to suport life.

    Lets hear your codswallop

  • @vicachcoup

    See Douglas Adams; "Puddle Thinking".

  • @macaroo388

Puddle thinking- more like muddled thinking

Please give your summary as to how it explains fine tuning - I find it an unhelpful analogy - adds nothing to the debate but you can try to convince me otherwise with a logical argument.

  • Water is the most source to life x]

its fun how ppl think GOD created EVERYTHING .. OH WAIT (ONLY HUMANS ARE GODS CREATURES WHO CAN GO TO HEAVEN!)

What about everything else? just came along humans failed experianced? rofl

  • given about 10 with 24 zeroes behind it chances even a monkey can make a habitable planet

  • Yeah, the answer IS obvious, but religious folk don't go for the logical answers they go for the more comforting ones. Lol nice vid

  • @zasterheffor yes.it was designed for life. where would we put the earth then? nowhere!

  • The real question is -- Was this Universe made for life?

  • speaking as an extremophile bacteria.I can tell you I do enjoy heat and sulpher and also blomonges me and the missus LOVE blamonges

  • Yes, everyone had a happy ending. Including the Dodos. And Dinosaurs. And all the other animals that went extinct.

  • So good at what he does.

  • Stupid, and myspace hahaha, why I switched to spacebook

  • Damn, this is awesome

  • atheism is just as crazy as any other religion... humans need to just admit they just dont know enough to draw such far conclusions. It's part of the human experience ... you want answers... MAKE A CHANGE IN THE WORLD and educate yourself... so maybe you can leave your footprint here for others to remember you for .... You need too much faith to believe in anything .. why cant humans just accept life for what it is... a mystery ... as humans we need a meaning to life so such beliefs have arisen

  • @multicultures what you said right here is atheism .....

  • @multicultures Atheism has no beliefs,It teaches you nothing,Its just logical thinking,And believing in Science, that science can prove why or how things are made, and why they , or we as humans exist on this planet , I really will like them in the Hydron Collider to find out how was the Universe really created , the mysteries of dark matter , as well as the mysteries of dark energy , We humans have evolved so far just because questioned what we believe and we question everything to find truth

  • @multicultures one more thing , Mystery , It might sound right to you , but Prophet made Islam because he could not accept the religions before it , Jesus made Christianity the same way , Everything in science , Everything around us comes because we question everything , We just can't accept things the way they are . :D That would be stupid and will lead to no progress of humanity

  • @multicultures Your right! Atheism is a religion! Just like not collecting stamps is a hobby!

  • you really think religious people are "that" stupid don't you mister? and you really think we're like, "which story makes you feel warm and protected and doesn't hurt your brain"?...you sir, have no idea of the intellectual foundations of Christianity, islam and the prestigious scholarship that is going on in religious institutes all over the globe!...study the history and philosophy of science first and then justify your faith in so called "light of science and reason"!...idiots!

  • @manzar9121 As long as you understood the point of the video. And yes, Atheists do see Christians as being "that" stupid. Just because someone studied the Bible, took a test and got an A on it doesn't mean that they're instantaneously intelligent. I attended a Christian school for 10 years and my GPA was higher than that of a public schoolkid for the simple matter that I read a book and knew what was in it. It's like literature or mythology class, but devoted to one fictional story.

  • @accelmemory

i specifically mentioned islam, along with Christianity, if you did not notice. correct, in muslim schools they teach arabic, law and historiography and similar subjects...along with Logic and material sciences. the history and philosophy of science is also thoroughly studied...see the courses in cambridge muslim college in Cambridge uni. and no, we are not that stupid, you really should look more into the history of sialm which is filled with muslim scholars, being...cont

  • @accelmemory

history of islam*...cont...science makers and mathematicians!...logicians, doctors and engineers. if that is your standard of considering s tradition intellectual enough, then sure, we have had it. and no, despite the fact that i understood whats he trying to say in the video above, i think it is misinformation and incorrect, perhaps he does not understand the theistic arguments, full of unnecessary sarcasm and idiocy, and definitely he has no insight into the philosophy of science

  • @manzar9121 This video was biased to some point, but if you've seen Christian videos they're also as biased. I've heard many Theistic arguments and I've also heard the arguments used to debunk them. There will be no solid conclusion to Theism vs Atheism, because one side can't prove the other side true or false. The only witnesses to the truth are unfortunately the dead.

  • @accelmemory

    I'd agree.

  • @accelmemory I agree to your point truely , but someday I think we will , Someday humans will definitely find the answers , but i doubt , if its a bad thing , I wonder how humans will accept a truth , This will never happen in our lifespan , the only way it can is if we actually encounter some aliens , Do you know Time travel is possible in science ? there are lots of things which we think may be impossible ,but when we find the truth ,they will be possible

  • @manzar9121 Do you know most of people who were very intelligent muslim in Islam , like scientist and stuff , and in other religions , consider Hinduism , christianity , Judaism , read their life views , Its interesting about the view of life and god they basically had , They did question the existence and non existence of god , Unless you have a flurry nice loving life and you don't study history , cosmology , and theology itself much , you will Question the existence of god and religion

  • @ksinndrama777 What is god?

  • @ksinndrama777 what are you arguing against? it seem as if you are trying to explane to people who dont beleve in god or hell how they can avoid being sent to hell by god. Also when god created sin (because he created everything) surely he came into contact with it. nakidity is evil, thats why eve covered herself after eating of the fruit of the tree of knolage of good and evil but god created them to be naked right?

  • 0:06 i heard because of streaming god crapped

  • *Clicks on channel page*

    *Subscribes*.

  • I love your videos! Thanks for stepping out there and posting them.

  • "An environment does not adapt to its organism's, the organisms adapt to it."

  • Natural and God, both assisted in earth's developement.

  • @AnimaMundi1000 why, when you can explain everything without god?

    why is both required? :)

  • It is because there are two forces, nature is everything that's evolving without other than 'natural selection' reason and there is God, who gives it all sense, reason or deeper quality that balances roughness and coldness of natural power...

  • @AnimaMundi1000 saying something gives it "sense" and "deeper quality" doesnt count as a valid reason...

    its just an opinion

  • i think religon is like santa we should be told its real as childern just for comfort and then let us realize on our own when were older thats its just made it people take the bible to seriously its just a collection of stories to learn from its not a manual on how to exactly live its our choice depending on our interpretation. love the videos by way

  • Any complex thingany complex thing is made of simple things

  • I love the idea that Nitrogen exists to test our faith.

  • Noooooooo!!!!!! I like seaweed. :'(

  • Atheism is just another"" jump in evolution . The human race is getting smarter. just like the kid finding out that santa is bogus and created by coca cola company .

  • @bassetter1

The CCC didn't create Santa, but they are the ones who established his appearance and red color.

But I agree, atheism as the choice of the new generation, fuck yeah!

  • @dAMMDb

    heard of the pendulum?

Atheism is doing very well on youtube at least. But this is just a reactionary swing to centuries of rubbish from organised religion and the current ignorance of organised religion and many of their followers.

But pendulums have a habit of swinging and this one is not far off swinging back again.

  • @vicachcoup " this one is not far off swinging back again."

    Wishful thinking I'm afraid.

When you compare evidence with no evidence there can only be one outcome.

  • @mtbee9

i think you're talking about a selective view of evidence.

The evidence is out there - just hasn't been packaged articulately yet.

The fine tuned universe is woefully unexplained by science - but you can continue to have faith in the gaps

  • @bassetter1 don't really think the human race is getting any smarter. just look at how popular jersey shore is. in fact just assuming the human race is getting smarter kinda proves my point further lol.

  • @bassetter1

I know I'm responding to a 3 moth old comment here, but the holidays are approaching and I just wanted to point out that the Coca Cola company did not create Santa Claus. Not even a little bit.

  • @bassetter1 Logically, Atheists existed before Theists. We also know Atheists have existed throughout recorded history. I don't think we're getting smarter...so much as there's always been smart and dumb, truth seekers and bullshitters, braves and cowards, conartists and their conned.

  • @TheHigherVoltage "Atheists existed before Theists."

Surely you have to dream up the idea of a god before you can be fore it or disagree with it! So wouldn't they occur at the same time when the first god was imagined and somebody said BS!

  • @mtbee9 So what would you classify everyone before the first God was dreamed up?

  • @TheHigherVoltage Good question. I don't think we have a word for believing or not believing in something that has not been proposed or suggested. Except maybe words like 'Magic'

  • @mtbee9 Personally, I don't subscribe to the believe/not believe dichotomy - it's falsified when applied to known cognitive functions.

It seems when it comes to the 'God(s)' question we either :

    (A) BELIEVE there is God(s). (commonly called belief)

    (B) BELIEVE there is no God(s). (commonly called disbelief)

    or

    (C) Don't hold a belief either way (psychologically called unbelief/uncertainty)

  • @TheHigherVoltage Actually I prefer to say I am ignostic. That is to say first you must determine what god is before I can decide if I accept the concept of god. So far I have not found anybody who can describe what god is so therefore I can find no reason to believe in one.

  • 21% Oxygen to sustain life, 78% nitrogen to test faith - LMFAO

  • This is so great

  • :50 already debunked! god does want us all to burn up, unless we suck his toejam through a straw! also, the fact that there are practically no planets in the habitable zone doesn't make it impossible

1:41 water is fucking everywhere, one of jupiters biggest moons essentially is water.

call me an angry athiest for a heated comment, but come on! u said in the beginning 'lets think about this, unbiased.' if ur unbiased, how could u POSSIBLY turn everything into 'god did it?'

  • @LOGIC42369 He's an atheist, don't worry. Most, if not all, of his videos are satirical.

  • @666Nanoko IT'S A JOKE

  • @666Nanoko yea i figure that out most of the way into the vid lol i was thinking 'this guy can't be serious' and then i was thinking 'thats because hes NOT serious! redo redo!" but it was too late..

  • @LOGIC42369 Yeah >_<

  • I love hoe theists look down apon athiests saying "we're to stupid and lazy to accept god", when in reality, we are the working ones who strive for truth and knowledge

  • if we really think about it god is a tyrant if we dont do what he wants he sends us to hell so either god is a tyrant or hes not real

  • The answer is dead babies. It's ALWAYS the dead babies.

  • @MyBandNameWasTaken OMNOMNOMNOM BABIES

  • @Mitarohmar I LOVE that song XD

  • @MyBandNameWasTaken It's a song? o.o

  • @Mitarohmar type in OMNOMNOMNOMN babies in the search bar. Shit's funny as hell.

  • @MyBandNameWasTaken I did that after saying I didn't know, and yeah.

I said OMNOMNOMNOM babies because for some reason people say atheists eat babies though. :P

  • @Mitarohmar Well, personally I DO eat babies. They're delicious >:D loljk Yea, I've talked to children who's parents have told them lies about athiests and it just makes me go "are you fucking kidding me?"

  • HEY! I am a Buddist and the picture at 0:18 is Buddha's picture.Buddha exists because there is historical evidence, not like you hypocrites! If I see your dick-headed god,I will not blame Buddha but will still believe in Buddha even while I still burn! Now fuck that Jesus!

  • @paper92100 Jesus existed too, you know. He just wasn't the messiah. EVERYONE from EVERY religion was historically real, that doesn't mean that they are who they are in their respective books.

  • jesus what is wrong with christian evolution fucking happens it still happens its being witness now. Look at ring species look at bacteria and other life forms. The most u could say is something started it all off. Adam and eve were never alive the flood couldnt of happened impossible. stupid christian wake up overwhelming proven evidence. Believe in God if u wish i dont give a shit just dont be illogical

  • @Tavor21Actual I don't believe in 'god' but there is evidence for a world wide flood years ago, I do not believe for a second, however, that Noah collected EVERY SPECIES of animal, put 'em on a boat and survived it.

  • @Jed0fSpades there is evidence for large sale flooding no world wide flood. It pains me of why these bible bashers are so fucking stupid they are holding back humanity

  • hehhe love it

  • Random rhinoceros will be my argument for evolution from now on.

  • "which of this explinations makes u feel good, and doesn't make your brain hurt" xD

  • Te big bang happened and the big bang made god!.........that's my thought....

  • How can one watch this and continue to be religious?

  • @Bionuker I'm sure people can ^^ ......religion is not all that easy to wash away xP

  • @Bionuker Very carerfully.

  • @Bionuker religion is a mind altering drug. rationality mean nothing

  • @Bionuker I threw my bible in the garbage in 2004 and never looked back...

  • @Enzo2284

Just don't throw the reality of God with that :-)

  • @vicachcoup I didn't :)

  • so many arguments on this vids... so well explained... even a christian can understand it... OH WAIT

  • Faith=Intelectual Lazyness

  • this person is retarded why cant christianity and Science come to together. Why couldnt of God make the big bang so it could do everything for him. im pretty sure god made the universe like he did so the human race wouldnt get bored. Humans dont understand everything.

  • @weyg Edward Current is satire.

  • "god made the universe like he did so the human race wouldnt get bored" the most ingenuous answer i ever seen. At least you have a chance to evolve if you are 12 years old. @weyg

  • @weyg Take a look at the last line you wrote. You appear to think you are more than human.

  • "78% nitrogen (to test faith)" Oh man, that had me crackin' up.

  • All god fearing and god believing christians know that the most deadly things Satan infected the earth with are science, logic, deductive reasoning, and common sense. The only way to get to heaven is to worship the fictional, egotistical, and tyrannical god and not to offend him by developing your mind to its fullest potential.

  • Here's a mindfuck for all the christians out there watching this video. If it is so unlikely that the world just happened to exist, then how likely is it that god was able to exist? What caused him? And especially if his existence is just as likely as the world existing simply by accident and not from his creation, then wouldn't the world existing as a result of his existence be just as likely as god existing?

  • ok, you proved that god existence dont helps the complexity problem... but this additional step (god) becomes a symbol that we can deform: god is infinite - the alfa and omega. The reality (universe) being infinite just doesnt sounds good, but something that you can't see as infinite sounds good... or at least more cryptical enough to give you a headache and you give up looking for answers. @luxord2654

  • @luxord2654 I'm not a theist, but this question HAS been answered before.

If God created the law that everything He creates needs to have both cause and effect to exist, then He exists outside of that law. Therefore, God does not need a creator or purpose, only His creations do. If God is perfect, no natural laws the universe is subjected to have any effect on Him.

  • @DarkStringCape Ironic seeing how creationists think that atheists believe that everything came from nothing. lol

But if this is the case, then who's to say that this perfect being was even conscious of what he/she/it was doing? Or that it even made the universe with intention? If god actually cared about us, then he wouldn't make the earth with so much potential energy for earthquakes, or tsunamis, tornadoes, etc. You know what I mean? Something that exists outside of physics does not = God.
