  • What happened to all the people?I remember these places were packed, long lines in mid 80's

  • @flyinv1967 When Yum Brands took over in 1993, everything went to hell including, but not limited to, the food. Operations got dumbed down, the décor got more generic; and they opened franchises in city slums and kept hired illegals who screwed up orders.

  • I remember wearing that crazy HOT uniform...the Hat had a built in EARRING, but it didnt show it!! I LOVE LJS!!

  • @francesdb1 I dreaded putting that uniform on and seeing people I knew from school. Polyester striped top, neck scarf and headscarf with the sewn on earring. The only perk from that job was inhaling the helium from the balloon tank. When I quit, the manager told me I would never go anywhere in the food service industry with my bad attitude. She was right.

  • @311scootertrash It was one HOT shirt..soon after we went to that canary YELLOW with the blue and a visor.. I got my YEAR pin and a Third mate pin and I still have them.. I enjoyed working at LJS we had a FUN and awesome crew.. I almost made it to 5yrs but meet the man of my dreams and QUIT!!! Thanks for writing me back.. OH by the way the old building turned into a STARBUCKS...LOL

  • $2.99? Man those were the days!

  • there fish is so good! byfar my favorite place to get fish!!

  • i love their fish!

  • I miss LJS. I live in England and the Fish and Chips are always soggy and greasy. USA does everything better. I hear the beer is even better now.

  • Is that Jim Carrey the guy on the right?

  • They all look like their eeyes are gonna pop out. What's in that shit anyway ?

  • how old is this commercial?

  • @WatchCharmedOnline watch, the long john silvers commercial was from 1981. i remember it. long john silvers was begun in 1978 and was really high quality fast food at the time and it was a place you could sit down and eat in with no gangbangers or punks. As you know its declined.

  • @WatchCharmedOnline early '80ish

  • It's the McCreepy-eyes from down the street!

  • Do they serve ham? Because I saw a lot of that in this commercial.
