  • great stuff here. does anyone know some names of other video game composers from the same time frame?

  • @KingamongmenIIV Lazy Jones was created in 1984. This is 1986-1990.

  • they should have used a cpl more pixels for eddie murphies left eye ball lol

  • Never had Speedball for C64, when I first heard it on Kohina stream, I thought it was from Dogs of War, the Amiga game which has *very* similar composition by the same guy - atleast to my ears.

  • @fourbarposer Indeed, Whittaker had adapted a kind of personal style from c64 times and carried it to Amiga. For similar examples check out Return to Genesis and Menace. In 1989 he composed music for Shadow of the Beast which is very unlike of his previous style and one of the greatest video game soundtracks ever made.

  • David Whittaker is a legend!!!

  • wasn't the first one also in another game? bravestar?

  • i must say it is awesome sharing the same name as a video game music composer=)

  • Great memories. (4:40) It's a wonder more of us didn't die from epilepsy watching these games load!

  • @mynamesforest Impossible epilepsy didn't exist in the 80's, neither did ADHD, dyspraxia.etc

  • locasoooooooooo!!! re buena onda ...eccelente!!!

  • what a genius that guy was

  • Still to this day I find the commodore just so brilliant..Fantastic compilation too..

  • Good stuff!

  • Puggsy and Lemmings are good too.

  • Try Glider Rider, it's my favourite of Whittaker's!

  • Love the man's compositions.

  • fucking amazing

  • the real ghostbusters is my all-time favorite song on the C64!!!
