  • the engine on the 2008-present Audi Q5

    Engine

    2.0L TFSI I4

    2.0L TDI diesel I4

    3.0L TDI diesel V6

    3.2L V6 FSI

  • the 2008-present Audi Q5 is assembled in

    Ingolstadt, Germany

    Changchun, China

    Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India

    Shah Alam, Malaysia

  • hah the bonnet didnt get any damage in the first test!!

  • Haha great results, but I love how the hood of the car kinda scoots over the barrier like "hell naw! can't touch this!"

  • Why don't Euro NCAP do rear crash tests? The rear is the most likely place you're going to get hit in a car crash.

  • Ja rok temu kupiłem Audi Q5 z salonu

  • nice but nothing beats q7

  • Check out Tampa Tribune Nov 18/2010 A Audi Q5 got hit by a Amtrak train at full speed. The Q5 took the full side impact and all 4 people survived. They all said no one who works those kind of accidents has ever seen anyone survive. "They said they just met 4 people that did". My wife loves her Q5 3.2 and I love the peace of mind.

  • @AzazelPony I love Audis too but let's not kid ourselves. That train was just the locomotive and I see no indication of where it hit or what speed the train was travelling. The occupants were all in serious condition as well. I think that was luck more than automotive engineering.

  • is it just me or is the hood designed to stab whoever crashed in at the front? lol

  • The Mirror turns xD

  • You can still use the bonnet after the frontal crash, three thumbs up :P

  • 2 thumbs up I feel better already

  • good to know this car is rated well in crash test :) i have one and my wife drives our little baby around in it :)

  • @FlyingPuma112 yeah i think it would be a rather good job... it makes choosing a car really easy.....!

  • i want a job at NCAP

  • is the engine broken after the crash ?

  • i love these vids

  • this is cool

  • Much better than a q7

  • ça c parfait

  • Lol, now watch the smart car crash test. Not so smart. lol

  • looks pretty safe

  • this is not real life... in real life my friend with her parents got into a REAL accident with the Audi Q5 and hardly survived it... it wasn't protecting as it was supposed to... just sayin..

  • @Blaxxx1 Oh goodness. How did it happen? I'm probably going to get a Q5 for my next car soon but this made me pretty skeptical. How surprising even though it has 5 stars.

  • diese autos sind nur für unsere sicherheut kaputt gemacht worden, ohne sie gäb es wie in diesem fall keinen q5 auf deutschen straßen

  • die armen autos...

    viel zu schade zum verschrotten^^

  • @Sykes1302

also is es dir lieber wenn menschen in ungeprüfte autos verschrottet werden?

  • @deaglemaster1337

des war doch nicht ernst gemeint ;) sicher ist es notwendig, aber halt schade ^^

  • the airbag hit the passenger in the face.

  • what??

    no..

  • Just scoot your seat back and there will be no problem.

  • Wow seems to be another well-done car by Audi :)

Just in videos like these here, it becomes clear how fast airbags really explode and help!

But one bad thing: Look at 1:21, there is the inner mirror flying around in the car, that's very dangerous i think^^

  • I like mirror 0:13 :D

  • looks GREAT! i wish my mom would get one, but she wont get anything that runs on premium fuel. she would use the car mostly for daily commuting anyways! (she has to have a 5 seat suv, dont ask me why, lol.)

  • @GrahamCrackers94 doesn't need premium, 95 octane is perfectly fine for the q5 :)

  • That's Great!!!

  • what's the last test at 1:30 ??

    thanks

  • it´s a test where you can se how the body reacte if you get hit from behind.

(sorry my bad english but i hope you understand.)

  • OK, thanks for the info :)

and no stress about your english :)

  • you mean, if somebody drives in back of the car?

But this test must be new!

  • It's a whiplash test. The point of it is to establish how effective the head restraint is in reducing whiplash. It simulates being rear-ended which is the most common kind of crash. A good head restraint is high and close to the back of your head. A poor head restraint won't support your head so your neck and spine will be damaged as your head is thrown backwards. The Audi Q5 has "good" head restraints. Remember: a head restraint (not rest) is a safety not comfort feature.

  • thx for the information, I appreciate it :p

  • this is a tank

  • Definitely looks solid

  • i think its the safest audi car..!(by euro ncap)
