so the 350 will bolt onto the 4.3 trans? have 91 4dr s-10 blazer with the 4.3 auto, will the sbc fit under the hood without a body lift? will the motor mounts have to fabed or can i buy them through summit?

@chroniclynumb yes the 350 will fit right onto the 4.3 tranny.

my dad had a 85 s10 with a 350 small block 5speed

and he had a 6 inch lift with a 3 inch bbody lift all fabtech with 36 inch tires pretty badass

nice ride, you done a lot of work doing all that swapping, would of been easier to do a frame off transfer of cabs if you didnt do that ;)

i have a 4.3 tbi with 5spd so im lookin good for a v8 i think

I just got a hold of a 1991 S10 jimmy . I want to put in a V8. Would like to know if you need a conversion kit and wandered about the tranny do you need to up grade? If so any info would help!!!

You will need motor mounts, headers,oil pan, and depending on what engine you have now you will need a radiator and a transmission. I used a radiator from a 4.3 with dual electric fans and a 5 speed tranny from a 4.3 liter s-10. Summit Racing sells the conversion kit.

@mazayamni I am putting a 350 chevy in my 88 s10 and so far all i have needed is motor mounts and cooling fans that go outside of radiator and a radiator

mine will be a inch higher than yours when i make a custom 6 inch suspension lift, already has a 3 inch body and 31s and a 454
