they recycle the glass and glass would not be used on newer TV instead they would be used on windows, car windows, and maybee lightbulb, but the plastic hardware it could be used on newer TV or it could be used on vacuum cleaner, or car hardware but you'll never know.

so they decide to use the easiest style of make tv to take apart. there are 7 tv makes and compact(brand name) has the hardest style to take apart.
