The soup looks really good! But what if you don't like spinach? What other greens would you suggest for this soup to take the place of the spinach?

@iceprincessice15 You could try experimenting. Rocket will add a peppery taste or cos lettuce will add a nice crunchy texture to the soup if you dont boil it too much. Let us know what you try...

@veriawellness How can you make the broth if you cannot get hold of Bonito Flakes or Kombu? A cube fish stock instead? I know its not the same but I cannot get the more niche ingredients in time to make this.

Very informative ... thanks for posting it ... can u tell me where can I get sake for cooking soups and noodles, here in USA ? or if it is available online, which brand can i buy for cooking purposes only ? I am really confused about it as no one even seems to know what is Sake .. here ...

@ksinha9210 Good wine shops can be the best place to get hold of sake. It is worth having a look online though to get a good idea of the top brands as there is quite a gap between the good stuff and the cheap and cheerful Sake. Good luck in your hunt :-)
