  • is GOG.com a good website pleas reply.

  • I must admit I'm stumped. With google being so easy available, surely googling gog.com would give you EVERY answer possible.

  • @DEIVION212 okay sorry i didint know :(

  • It's ok.

Glad you like the vids :)

  • @DEIVION212 btw i like your videos :)

  • found your review by chance. i have to say it is one of my all time fave fps games. it is a crying shame the new one is absolute fucking crap.

  • this is like cod in the 90s

  • I used to play Duke Nukem 3D ATOMIC with my dad xD

i was 5 or 6 year old and i just open doors...

I can say that this is a GREAT game , one of the best shooters in the history

  • TEN no longer exists. You can't play online reguardless of what you have.

In order to play it online, you will need to use GameSpy or another program which will let you connect to other servers. Or else do a direct IP connect with another player.

  • This isnt just on Windows 95, cuz I have XP and it works for me.

  • So you're got the W95 multiplayer running?

'Cuase I wasn't on about the game being 95 only, as I'm on Vista in the vid and as I do this comment I'm on 7.

  • hey does this version have the double barrel shotgun , double pistols and uzi in it?? btw thanks for talking about the you yougamers site, i didnt know about it, it will be very useful for me now :)

  • Not as far as I'm aware, no.

At least they don't come up under the all weapons cheat and I've never seen them through my play throughs.

    Yeah it's a great site :D

  • @xxxCRAZYLOVExxx Duke Nukem Zero Hour has dual pistols, dbl shotgun and machine pistols (not uzies).

  • Your accent is simply awesome :D

Nice game too - I love Duke Nukem.

  • Thanks :)

  • god i feel old, to think this was top o line games at one time. and given time crysis will become just like duke nukem instant classic. lol i remember watching my uncle play this game constantly. i still remember most of the lines lol.

  • I bought this game years ago when I was running windows 95. When I've tried it on xp, I cant get sound on- where can I download an xp compatible version of this?

  • Youtube won't let me post the link in the comments but it's in my vids description, go there and you're sorted :)

  • Nice one thanks!

  • No probs :)

  • I downloaded this game today. It is my favorite Duke Nukem so far

  • i got this game wen i was 10 (now im 12) and its awesome! but i still like doom a little more...

  • I agree that DOOM is better :)

  • i have it,but it dont work in vista: he give me a error: this sistem dont support the full screen mode. )how to fix it?

  • Do you have the GOG version?

Because I have heard that the disc version doesn't work on Vista.

  • i have normal version...

  • i have both the normal version and the GOG version. they both work on vista, the gog version just works fine, but the normal version works...but it wont be easy.you need to download dosbox, its a DOS emulater that often runs the game even better that running the game on windows 98.but if you don't know how to use command prompt then you will have a hard time getting it working.

  • Great review, Duke is certainly an all-time classic.

  • Cheers :)

  • Lol, Ten has been down ever since '99 I think.

  • I still have the Origional 1995 Duke 3D: Atomic Edition, good as new. although the game dosent run nowadays without a DOS emulator, runing an older OS to run the game.

This is an amazing game. i still remember playing it when i was 5 years old lmao

  • I love this game, i'm still playing it now and then, and it works fine on my vista :D

  • Think my PC'd be able to run this?

  • Haven't a clue, don't know your specs.

If you tell me I'll find out :)

  • Can you tell me the limits?

Well the good graphics settings on Toribash is pretty much my limit.

  • Windows XP or Windows Vista, 1.8 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM (1 GB recommended), 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 7 (compatible with DirectX 9 recommended), 2GB HDD, Mouse, Keyboard.

And Toribash is... Windows -or- OSX -or- Linux, 1ghz CPU, OpenGL

Is... Not very helpful because that's all the info it gives me >:(

But I'd say it might be best to avoid it, because Tori is a 1.0 and Duke is a 1.8.

My brother says though, go into your my computer file and there should be a view system...

  • system info. And that should tell you your specs :)

  • And this is why I hate PC gameing.

    SOOOO CONFUSING!!

Why can't I just play the damn game?

    So many calculations!

  • Yup, I'm having MJAOR problems with patching Max Payne for Vista, they want me to open up logs and shit, WTF ARE LOGS?!

  • Oh any btw, I deserved that thumbs down.

I'm too stupid for using a PC.

  • Mate, at your age I could barely do a damned thing on a P.C, it's just one of those things, the more you use it the better you get :)

I'm about to build a top quality gaming P.C and I honestly don't have a clue about any of this P.C talk, I'm basically getting my best mates brother who's been building them for years, to just do me a rig that's the best of the best.

I won't know what;s in it, but it'll run Crysis so that's enough for me XD

  • My computer can run Quake Live,

and Americas army (but that's an American exclusive s not sure if that helps. DX).

  • Right Army was helpful.

The official site of AA says that you need 512 MB, which is the same as Duke. 2.4 GHZ Processor which is MORE than Duke. And the graphics card is a 128MB, which Duke just says 3D compatible.

So I think a 128 will be more than enough because AA isn't 2D is it?

So yeah, that says to me that Duke should be fine :)

  • But if you have the time, goto yougamers. It's a site that scans your system and tells you if you can run games.

So find a game that you can run from that site, and then that should give you a rough estimate of what your specs are.

  • AWESOME.

  • love is such a beautiful thing

  • I wish I could say the say for totally random comments.

    Care to explain???

    'cause I'm lost.

  • i think Yt glitched

  • No probs :)

  • He's my friend,

he wants to talk to me, but I blocked him I think.

    He's unblocked now.

But then again I could have this totally wrong, he can be a bit confusing (hence randomness).

  • Hey DEIVON212,

Iv'e been watching your video's since 2006 and I think there are great, but the only thing I don't understand is that how can you afforde all of the games?

  • Glad you're a fan :)

Don't smoke, drink, drive (gas money), do drugs etc... It all adds up :)

So I just fund my hobbies instead :)

  • i used to love this game! I LOVE YOU DEIVION212

  • Quiet, we said we wouldn't mention that outisde of san francisco ;)

Joking aside though, glad to have you as a fan :)

  • Thanks :D

  • Ah duke Nukem 3D. I loved playing this at my old school on breaktimes. Great review

  • Thanks :D

  • Yes, yes it is one of the best ever made.

  • Download EDuke and the high resolution pack...it takes a ton of the age off this game.

  • @myoosic True, but for all games, original is the way to go. How it was meant to be played. And honestly, if you need those packs to play classic games, you're not a true gamer.

  • i want the duke nukem for the N64 on the VC XD!

  • Ditto, it's got local multiplayer and an enlargen gun. Doesn't seem to be on this one, shame.

  • Lol! I gotta get this and do that Russian dance thing. Awesome review!

  • Thanks :D

  • mac mini?

  • Are you asking will GOG games work or if that's what I have?

Because I don't know if GOG games work on Macs but I know that's not what I've got, lol.

  • Okay. I just thought maybe you had a mac mini hooked up to your tV

  • Nah it's just a normal Toshiba Windows P.C, use an SF cable to hook it up :)

  • Man, I love this game. I had problems figuring out how to enable Y axis aiming, though. I got it, but you can't adjust the speed.

Great review, though! I'm just starting to become a DOS addict again too.

  • You can, this is what you do (Took me AGES to figure out).

Open your DN3D folder and enter setup, head to controller setup and then mouse setup. Choose your buttons as normal and then put the sensitivity up full, THEN goto advanced control options, enter advanced mouse and make sure you've set it to analogue turning for x and analogue moving for y.

That's what I've got and it works, both axis move at the same speed :)

If it doesn't work, tell me, I may have forgot something :)

    Cheers BTW :D

  • Yes, I have missed something out.

In advanced after the X = Analogue Turning and Y = Analogue Moving, goto Y Axis Scale and set it to be the same as what you want your sensitivity to be.

Because Sensitivity goes upto 4.0, so if you want it THAT on 4.0, make sure X Axis Scale stays at 1.0 and then make sure Y is 4.0.

Then they'll both move at the same speed :)

  • Thanks, man! Now I'm off to enjoy Duke to its full extent.

  • No probs :D

  • Geart review.
