Wajima is a former Yokozuna who joined All Japan to pay off some debts. However, injuries accumulated during his sumo career limited his potential as a professional wrestler, so he only lasted a few years in the organization, retiring in January of 1989. Perhaps his most high profile match was against Stan Hansen for the vacant PWF Heavyweight Championship on April 24, 1987.

And the less said about Tom Magee, the better. I'll betcha Baba-san was thinking, "This man is absolutely terrible."

They keep putting Magee with guys who can barely move should've put him in with more active opponents like The Ultimate Warrior the reason they didn't is because Magee would've made guys like him look bad. Watch Rocks matches when he started boring and terrible as hell. Magee puts more moves together quicker then the big names. More I watch Magee the better he looks more I watch guys like the Rock the worse.

WTF??? This guy could't even throw a realistic looking slap if his life would depend on it. And the "slow moving Jap" makes at least some effort to sell this shit - which just has to be frustrating. BTW - every move from Magee is twice as slow. I don't give a rat's ass about Magee's athleticism. The guy is easily the lousiest worker I have seen so far. Even if I put guys like Giant Gonzalez into consideration. Talent is as absent in Magee as eskiomos in the desert.

@MightyJabroni - The lousiest worker was Ultimate Warrior. Magee had far more moves in his repertoire than the Ultimate Warrior ever did. Besides the WWF Wrestling Entertainment was all about gimmick and little about wrestling ability, which is why you had your Hulks, Andres and UWs making it to the top. If you wanted to primarily see good, solid wrestling with a few gimmicks you watched the NWA which is why they were the major competition for the WWF at that time

A number of moves doesn't save the day if the basics are so weak. All of Magees offensive looked incredibly non-violent ..... Off course, the Warrior sucked balls. But for other reasons than Magee and at least his tiny move set had some intensity about it, when he executed those two or three moves.

But when it comes down to the most embarassing shitty worker ever, I'd say it was Zeus. Holy fuck - this guy was beyond terrible.

Zeus was in a wrestling ring to wrestle. Therefore, I rightfully judge him as a wrestler and he was awful. Especially because he didn't do it just one time (like most other celebrities). He was "wrestling" on four different PPVs for fuck sake! Considering he was used on several occassions and was even considered to headline Wrestlemania (Jesus .....), he didn't improve a lick and was god damn awful all the fucking time.

@80eighter Oh, for sure. Magee was terrible but he was no worse here than he was in his match against Bret Hart, which had Vince screaming that Magee was his next champion. The right opponent can make all the difference. Unfortunately, neither of these guys were capable of making their opponent look good...both would be out of pro wrestling within two years of this match.

Silly people are giving people thumbs down because they're calling McGee an athlete- after setting a world record deadlift of 1180 pounds in 1983, he obviously is one, and a damn good one at that. He'd be the strongest man ever to enter the ring after Kazmaier (another powerlifter/strongman) and another 2-3 powerlifters that've done the same thing.

Whether his wrestling looks fake or not doesn't bother me, he's a great strong athlete.
