Iv ordered the 3.0 TDV6 in silver and will get the pair of straight running boards and a set of mud flaps. Will also get the larger alloys. (not the ones shown in this video, i dont like them)

The absolute worst vehicle made. Here is a little test if you are thinking of buying one. Venture to their service area and you will notice that every repair slot or garage is always full. Enough said. These vehicles are a disaster in Engine failure, transmission failure and the list goes on. There are plenty of master technicians who will state this. Save yourself the headache. Simply Google Land Rover issues as well if you are not convinced. Buyer beware!

Well a mate of mine has a Land Cruiser - the be all and end all of reliability - and a week after getting the transmission overhauled at a cost of $3500 the engine lost oil pressure and shot a bearing. It's now sitting in a paddock because it isn't worth the six grand it'll cost to overhaul, especially when you can buy a reliable old land rover Discovery for three grand.

Are you speaking from experience or prejudice? Because I've had my 93 Discovery, which cost $3100, for a year, done 40,000km in that time, including around 30 days of hard offroad driving, and it hasn't missed a beat. I've changed the oil three times, replaced the rear shocks for the WOF (like a MOT) and that's it. The steering box developed a leak after an offroad crash, but I just top that up and it keeps going.
