  • Notes on Pronunciation:

    خذ الكتاب

there is no space between the 2 words, we have to pronounce as:

خذلكتاب stop on letter L ل and no pronounce letter ا A -alif

and letter ذ in word خذ must be with KASRA sound as i

هات الكرة Pronounce هاتلكرة stop on ل

  • Brother, program Arabic Editor Pro can help you to write the Arabic Words with different color for the accents

and many thanks for this excellent video

  • A+ Very good video.

    Just a tips:

If you want to make it A+++, then you can type the words in the 'description' on the right:

    Take = khuthe = 0:31

    give me = hat = 0:46

    etc.

Then people can just click on the link, and they can repeat the words, over and over. Making it easiers to learn a word.

  • YAY! i found my problem..crazy me..it was ka..anyway thank you so much

  • Marhaba. um, i have problems with the letters and their sounds..when there is a word, i try to break it down before the video says it, but i often encounter letters that i haven't seen before. with "words" there was something that looked like an s, but of all my notes, i see nothing like that..why? does certain sounds create new characters?

    ila l-liqa, wa shukran!

  • It is because each each letter in arabic, except maybe one or two, hs three different ways to write it, and it depends on its place in the word, if the letter is in the middle of the word there is a way to write it, if it is in the end of the word there is a different way to write it and if it is in the beginning of the word there is a different way to write it.

  • MashaAllah, keep it up..You are Good Teacher,i really like when u explained the difference between A book and Book..thats good job..and the most good thing is you are teaching us Perfect Arabic(Fusha)MashaAllah keep it up and good job..you deserve compliments Yalittleboy.

  • selam,

can i say only ketab instead al-ketab?

It is so important to use Al?

It is a definite article like THE?

How many articles are there in arabic ?

  • you know you can say ketab or alketab, the difference is the definite article al you are using to show a particuar book not any book.there is a difference between a book and the book, abook means any book, the book, means certain book I'm talking about and the listener knows what book I mean

  • Your lessons are very useful. The enunciation is clear and the speed is just right. Keep it up!!

  • best Arabic lectures ever Masha Allah, i need to learn more arabic words and how to make sentences out of them, also the grammer, forms of verbs etc. Jazaak Allah khyr

  • Ahlan Khaled! Your lessons are very helpful for somebody who's learned the basics of Arabic language. I took a 2 month course last winter and have done additional studying on my own but without any practice am fogettting what I learned. Your clips refreshed my little knowledge quite a bit. Keep doing an excellent job! Shukran!

  • Thank you and I'm trying to do the best I can, but I'm not perfect lol! why don't you rate me or prescrib to my vidz, and if u have any recommendations please drop aline for me. شكرا

  • As I have said, we use thoes signs to help pronouncing a word. Those signs in the Qura'an to help people read the qura'an correctly as everyone is not as good in reading Arabic. You know if u pronounce some words uncorectly, u can alter the meaning, so they keep the signs in the Quran,so that the meaning can not be not altered or confusing. Sometimes we use those words for Grammeratical purposes. You will learn later on.

  • At the end of this video I'm showing a phrase of two words and how the letters of each word are being connected. At the bottom I'm showing how the letters of each word look like without being connected(in pink border).so you need to recognize how the letters look like when connected and unconnected.the vowel signs are important for pronounciation, once u know how to pronounce, u won't need them at all.

  • at the end of the video, the letters borderd in pink are separated, but you write it as a word like the ones in the top, right?

and those vowel signs, above and under,do you write them all the time when writing words,or do you learn them in tim and then just leave them out?

and god bless you for this wonderful course!!

  • i asked about the signs, besause i have the Qur'an at home(transleated ofcourse)but there is the original text too,and in the original text i recognize those signs!so i was confused,if they were to be left out why are they implemented in The Kitab?
